Cet émulateur multi-systèmes pour MacOS a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- adds nascent Commodore 16/Plus 4 emulation, a work-in-progress;
- fixes a potential crash at startup for the MSX 2;
- reduces potential memory leaks for any machine that uses disks;
- improves the Mac UI with: a modern icon, improved menu wording and closer-to-QuickTime behaviour for showing the in-window machine controls; and
- experimentally, primarily for the ZX Spectrum and on macOS only, attempts automatically to relaunch media that has been changed by an external program (e.g. if you reassemble software you are developing).

Ce gestionnaire de ROMs a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
UI:
- added: optionally hide/show roms/disks/samples output via context menu
- fixed: remove datasource XML file when hash folder changed (should only happen when XML file was internally created from an exe export)

Core:
- added: "available:" filter which limits the machine selection to files you have. You might notice a count difference in total vs filtered even when you got all files. This is based on the fact that a) empty sets are excluded and b) there are clones which are totally included in their parent, so -in split mode- you don't have a standalone file/folder for it. So don't worry about the count.
- misc: "file:" filter, in case you work with softwarelist collections, you'd need to prefix single entries with sl-name#pacman (e.g. a2600#pacman) to specify which set you're refering to. Not needed for single sl files or standard dats though.
- misc: some earlier cancel returns in fix wrong named disk/sample/rom/machine
- misc: dupe output now shows all found paths belonging to a machine
- misc: updated spdlog to 1.15.1
- misc: limited AUTO thread switch to 25 threads as max (or less depending on your hardware). You can still manually select more or less if you like
- fixed: dupes can be listed multiple times
- fixed: backups for unneeded folders can create wrong and very long folders due to wrong encapsuling
- fixed: backup can miss empty unneeded folders at first scan
- fixed: fill-in file from addpath/backup path was removed (when requested) even when fill-in copy failed and you might had a 0 byte new archive
- fixed: log pattern in commandline mode

Une nouvelle beta pour cet émulateur AMiga a été publiée. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
Some more fast (includes any non-memory cycle-exact mode) optimizations and most remaining missing features added. All normal screenmodes are now supported in fast modes, only remaining always-"slow" is lines with copper activity and sprites. Both probably will be supported in the future but they are not that important. Copper activity only if it does not cause any immediately visible effect on screen (for example color change inside hblank). Previous betas CPU feature restrictions removed.

- BPLCON2 KILLEHB bit disabled EHB without BPLCON0 ECSENA bit.
- Fast mode drawing now uses mode/doubling/resolution specific optimized generated code (genlinetoscr)
- HAM6, HAM8, DPF and EHB fast modes fully implemented.
- Border color lines are also now fast mode drawn if line is still border and only color changed.
- OCS/ECS invalid PLFxPRI value (>=5) chipset feature supported in fast modes.
- Sprites were not always correctly visible in fast modes.
- Fixed shifted display in fast modes if HDIW opened before bitplanes started.
- Some more fast mode optimization and fixes.
- CPU requirement is back to SSE2. Normal non-ce chipset modes should be now fast enough (as fast or faster than old version?) with older CPUs now.

Background information: "slow" mode is always used to draw line when line's parameters have changed. When line has been drawn, parameters calculated by slow mode are stored. If line and its parameters have not changed since it was drawn using slow mode: do nothing. If line has changed (or colors changed) or horizontal scrolling has changed but parameters are same: draw it using fast mode using slow mode calculated parameters. This makes fast mode worth the trouble because it does not need do any complex calculations or handle weird special cases and it is very common to have parameter changes only in few lines. (Many demos are obvious exception but they usually need cycle-accurate CPU anyway). ("parameters" = custom registers used to configure display)

Une nouvelle beta pour cet émulateur Amiga a été publiée. Voici la liste des changements:
This update includes most planned non-ce mode optimizations. As long as display mode is mostly normal, performance should be quite good even when all lines change every frame. Optimizations still need optimizations (most code is not optimized because it makes testing and fixing much easier. Too early optimization is rarely a good idea.). Part of these optimizations can be also used in CE modes but I am not yet sure if it is worth the trouble because cycle based chipset emulation can't be bypassed like it can be in non-ce modes, total performance improvement may be quite small.

- Added another optimized bitplane mode: if line's parameters (DDF/DIW/BPLCON,FMODE etc. Except BPLCON1) have not changed but content or colors have since previous field: draw the line directly from chip ram (bypassing DMA emulation) using quick line-based mode because it is guaranteed that it is safe to do for this line. Currently only supports normal bitplane modes (no HAM or DPF etc but these will be implemented later). Currently uses very naive planar to chunky conversion code. (Some SSE based would be nice). This should improve performance when most of native mode display changes continuously. Now all non-cycle exact configurations should be as fast or faster than old versions. WARNING: Programs that have "unaligned" DDFSTRT are not yet correct and will have lines with horizontal offset mixed with lines with correct horizontal offset. Subpixel scrolling is not fully supported yet.
- Reset stored line state (redraw whole screen) when any config change is detected.
- Optimized hardwired (PAL/NTSC) horizontal match cycle logic. Enable programmed mode horizontal match logic only if at least one horizontal programmed mode register is updated, don't unnecessarily enable it if only vertical register is updated. This should speed up cycle-exact modes.
- Immediate blitter in fastest possible modes was not as fast as previously. It is still not as fast as it was previously because this change can reduce pure CPU emulation speed, need tweaking later. This was unrelated to display emulation rewrite. For example AIBB EllipseTest.
- If Picasso96 SetSwitch() is called requesting switching to native mode but mode is already native mode: do nothing and don't create useless log message. (Happens when dragging native mode screens with Picasso96 loaded which caused unnecessary config changes and stored line state resets)

Une nouvelle beta pour WinUAe a été publiée. Voici la liste des changements:
- Fixed b8 optimization glitches, first bitplane line had horizontal offset in some situations (for example Pinball Dreams), Denise horizontal counter was not reset to correct "past" position and in some situations top part of screen was filled with black.
- If config file only has uaehfx config entries (No much older filesystem2 or hardfile2 entries before first uaehfx line), uaehfx entries are now fully loaded. uaehfx was added long time ago as a replacement for fs2/hf2 but they were only used to load extended information for previously loaded hardfile2 entry if it was real harddrive. When saving config loaded without filesystem2/hardfile2, only newer uaehfx entries are now written to config file.
- b8 when exiting debugger, restore focus back to previously active window now also works when log window is not initially open.
- Genlock misdetection (and hang) was still possible in some configs randomly.
- NTSC + optimized mode long/short line toggle caused glitches. This is not easy to work around so now NTSC does not do Denise side long/short line emulation unless at least memory cycle exact is enabled. (Which only means extremely weird programs that abuse STRLONG strobe can only work in cycle exact modes). There is still edge NTSC glitches visible, will be fixed later.

Une nouvelle beta pour cet émulateur Amiga pour Windows a été publiée. Voici la liste des changements:
Major optimization included, WB native modes (and other normal native modes that don't update whole screen every frame) are now much faster, closer/same as old pre-v6 versions.

Beta 8:
- More optimizations, now also uses line based emulation if scanline has bitplanes but it has not changed since last frame and line has no copper activity and no sprites. This restores performance compared to previous WinUAE versions when mostly static native display is visible (like WB or SysInfo screen ) in non-cycle exact modes (including basic A500/A1200 + approximate CPU without CE). The less changing lines/copper activity the faster it becomes, almost static native screens are most likely faster than in old versions. Not perfect yet, some glitches can happen. Also more optimizations to do. This is more or less best of both worlds solution: chipset timing is accurate in all CPU modes (excluding blitter) but scanlines that have nothing interesting happening are emulated line based for best performance. Changed/non-changed line ratio logging is still active. Chipset panel subpixel emulation checkbox still disables this optimization.
- When exiting debugger, restore focus back to previously active window.
- b7 CD32 CD caching optimization didn't work correctly if identical sector range was requested back to back. Fixed. Affected at least FMV cartridge + VideoCD configuration.

Current chipset emulation overhead estimates:
- RTG mode (no native mode visible): always linebased, very small chipset emulation overhead. (Same or faster than old versions)
- Native, vblank or border only: only lines that have copper activity are not line based, small chipset emulation overhead. (Usually faster than old versions)
- Native, bitplanes visible: line based mode when line has not changed and no sprites and no copper activity. Small chipset emulation overhead, the less lowers, the less overhead. Changed line or sprites or copper activity: high chipset emulation overhead. (Slower than old versions but can be also faster in some situations)
- Memory cycle-exact enabled: always cycle-by-cycle chipset mode, high chipset emulation overhead.

TODO:
- Detect lines that have "simple" copper activity where copper is only used to modify colors inside hblank (very common case) and emulate these in line based mode.
- Emulate normal DMA mode sprites in line based mode.

Une nouvelle beta de cet émulateur Amiga qu'on ne présente plus a été publiée. Voici la liste des changements:
- Next part of optimizations partially implemented: use line based emulation and don't redraw the line if current line is vblank or background color and field has same type and color as last field and CPU is not memory cycle-exact and line has no copper activity. The more border visible, the faster emulation, currently mostly useful when booting to RTG mode, blank native mode during booting is emulated much faster now. (If line has bitplane and previous field's line had also same bitmap: skip line will be implemented later). Temporary debug logging: every second percentage of "skipped" lines is logged. Interlaced modes are not yet fully supported. Glitches possible, report any glitches (Chipset panel subpixel checkbox is temporarily reused as a DISABLE option for this optimization to confirm problem reason)
- 32-bit version AVX2 -> AVX requirement change.
- Only switch to no chipset RTG mode if memory cycle-exact is not selected.
- If BPLCON0 ERSY is set, emulate counters stopping accurately only if CPU mode is at least memory cycle-exact to prevent random genlock misdetections and resulting hangs at boot. (Fastest possible mode already did this but not approximate CPU speed without memory cycle-exact)
- Statefile OCS/ECS color register restore fixed.
- Fixed lightpen cursor in genlock modes.
- Fixed LDP-1450 OSD generated "YOU'RE HIT!!" message horizontal positioning (Platoon / Nova laserdisc arcade game).
- Some more 86box merges.
- PCI Matrox Millennium, Millennium II, Mystique and Mystique 220 emulation from 86box (originally from PCem). All 4 supported because all of them have differences that makes them partially incompatible with each other. Interrupts supported, blitter is fully working. Usual missing big-endian byteswapping bits implemented (Unexpectedly vsync interrupt was already implemented), blitter plane masking implemented, blitter TRANSC bit support was incomplete, support WORD writes to LONG-only blitter registers, Mystique built-in RAMDAC HW cursor color component order fixed. Blitter/3D FIFO was emulated in background thread in original code, this is disabled for next few betas because it makes debugging much easier.
- Do not reject uaegfx Picasso96 blit operation (=Picasso96 does the blit operation in software) if RenderInfo BytesPerRow field is zero. Zero BPR is allowed.
- Added Action Replay 3 3.17 full dump checksums to ROM scanner. Old dumps are still accepted where first 4 bytes of ROM are zeroed. (First 4 bytes are IO ports, ROM data is impossible to read with only software)
- CD32 CD reads should be more real optical drive friendly, when CD32 is reading data continuously (playing CD streaming animation or video), host side CD sector reads are now always in increasing order without repeating same sectors.

Cette réécriture de ClrMAME Pro a été ajouté à nos sections à l'occasion de sa mise à jour. Voici ce qu'elle propose:
UI:
- added: #thread selector
- added: scanner, Clipboard->Copy Machine Names option
- fixed: rebuilder log Copy To Clipboard misses linefeed

Core:
- added: you can define a thread pool size which is used for parallel scanning rebuilding/etc. Either you keep auto (default value) or pick the number of threads used for the pool yourself. "auto" picks a high value when you work with compressed files and a low value when using decompressed ones. A low value is better when you run into file seek overhead issues. If you're not happy with auto, you can try to tweak it yourself.

Une nouvelle beta de cet émulateur Amiga a été publiée. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
First optimization is fully back: RTG mode disables most of chipset emulation. This should restore pre-v6 RTG mode performance. (For obvious reasons, don't try to use sysinfo to check it! )

Beta 6:
- Almost all chipset emulation code is skipped when RTG mode is active and chipset screen is not visible (not connected to any other virtual monitor). This should restore RTG mode performance back to pre-v6 WinUAE versions. Pre-v6 versions also used similar optimization.
- "Remove interlace artifacts" now uses virtual lines internally, works even when VPOSW is modified mid screen. Last line flicker fixed.
- Limit initial Windows to Amiga clipboard copy to max 30k (initial = when Amiga is booted and Windows clipboard is not empty) if clipboard sharing is enabled. This prevent slow startup if clipboard sharing is enabled and configuration is not fast and Windows clipboard has some random large image.
- Fixed A2024 15Hz mode vertical line.

Une nouvelle version de cet émulateur Amiga pour MacOS a été publiée. Voici la liste des changements:
Enhancenemts:
- Improved Dashboard (#856)
- User-selectable number formats in inspector (#862)
- Auto-completion for enum-like options in RetroShell (#861)
- Framebuffer screenshots (#863)

Bug fixes:
- The emulator does no longer crash when a dropdown menu in a shrinked toolbar is selected.

Internal changes:
- Switched Swift interoperability from C to C++.
- Encapsulated more data structures and types in the vAmiga namespace.
