Une nouvelle beta pour cet émulateur Amiga a été publiée. Voici la liste des changements:
- Los Justicieros (Zorton Brothers) laserdisc arcade game left holster hooked up correctly. (Was stuck active previously)
- If programmed mode was enabled first and if programmed horizontal blanking got enabled slightly later, it didn't force display position recalculation. This is needed because programmed mode horizontal position also depend on horizontal blanking configuration. Real monitors also use both syncs and blanks to detect display position. (I noticed this in CyberVision PPC config where CVPPC gets activated at boot, then when END+F9 is used to switch back to native mode, display was horizontally shifted and clipped)
- In NTSC mode if bitplane DMA last fetch "overflowed" to cycle 0 (which is harmless and normal in overscanned modes) when line was short, it was incorrectly kept allocated for bitplane DMA also during long lines. Long line has 1 more cycle = no overflow. (NewTek demo reel 3 dynamic hires image corruption in NTSC mode, CPU didn't have enough time to update all colors quickly enough. Note: corruption at the bottom in PAL mode is demo bug. NTSC mode also has 2 slightly corrupted lines at the bottom, this is also normal.)
- Magic mouse mode without enabled mouse driver was broken in b1. Moving mouse outside of emulation window and back caused it to stop moving.

- Added a native Metal backend for macOS with VRR support
- Implemented latency selection in SDL audio driver
- Removed the built-in Blur shader, using the bilinear slang shader is preferred
- Removed non-hardware accelerated video drivers (any platform capable of running ares should at least have OpenGL, D3D or Metal available)
- Reduce CPU usage on the video thread by using a condition variable rather than a spinlock
- Add support for connecting a Mouse on macOS (for emulating SNES mouse, etc)
- Remove tight loops in SDL and OpenAL drivers, reducing CPU usage when using these drivers.

- Fix an issue where nested slang shaders were not available in the UI

- Cleanup of MSX BIOS handling - we now support the Panasonic CF-2700 directly. See MSX BIOS section for details.
- MSX status line now shows RAM (based on machine chosen) on the status line (was previously showing ROM size which no other machine in ColecoDS did).
- MSX Caps Lock now has LED indicator on the virtual keyboard.
- Added ROM/CAS/DSK size and CRC32 on the main screen after choosing a game.
- Numerous fixes for Save/Load states especially for the MSX and Einstein.
- Improved memory handling to free up some DS resources for future expansion.

Une nouvelle beta a été publiée pour cet émulateur Amiga. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Fixed pre-KS 1.2 HDF/directory filesystem boot. Two bugs: crash due to config handling changes (3.6) and KS 1.0/1.1 seems to have a bug where level 2 CIA keyboard interrupt handler returns "I handled this interrupt" status even if it was caused by external device, skipping all following handers, including UAE filesystem interrupt handler, causing a hang. UAE FS interrupt level was changed to -1 if KS 1.3 or lower (4.9) because there was some buggy (KS1.x compatible only) program that poked interrupt list and broke if CIA handler wasn't first in list. Now UAE FS handler priority is lower than CIA handler only if KS 1.2 or 1.3.
- Multi-monitor active state was not fully reset when system was hard reset. (Secondary window was open -> hard reset -> window didn't open anymore again)
- If x86 bridgeboard SVGA and also other hardware emulated RTG board was active and END+F9 was used to switch monitors: both monitors' output was drawn in same window, causing corrupted graphics and possibly also crash if monitor sizes were too different.
- Adjusted 520b5 audio period hack, do not change period immediately after first loop but only after it has looped multiple times. Does not anymore mess up weird audio test programs.
- Permedia 2 Video Control register video enabled/disabled (disabled = blanked) and Line doubling bits emulated.
- Show error message without resetting config back to defaults when GUI Load button could not open the file.
- GD-CL54xx LFB VRAM reads fixed. (For example NetBSD console scrolling was broken)
- Fixed S3 Virge MMIO address calculation (fix from 86box update). NetBSD "No mapping" log message fix.
- A2410 NetBSD text console works again.
- Autoswitch to hardware emulated RTG board also when text mode gets enabled (*nix boot consoles etc)

It’s time for our very special MAME 0.265 release! April has seen development across numerous areas. MAME now has support for touch screens on Linux and Windows 8 or later, opening up new possibilities for interactive artwork. If you have a suitable multi-touch screen, you can now play chords on systems with on-screen piano keyboards. Check the documentation for specifics on how touch differs from mouse control in menus. You’ll need to turn on the enable_touch option to use touch screen support on Linux.
A pair of 1970s portable computers from IBM are now emulated in MAME: the IBM 5100 and IBM 5110. Based on a heavily microcoded 16-bit architecture, these systems ran APL software by emulating a System/360 mainframe and BASIC software by emulating a System/3 business system (ancestors of IBM Z and IBM i, respectively). Prior to the introduction of the IBM 5100, APL was exclusive to large mainframe computers. A self-contained 25 kg system running APL as well as BASIC was revolutionary.
You can now plug a virtual Super Game Module into your emulated ColecoVision, adding more RAM and better sound output. Many titles from the vibrant ColecoVision homebrew development community require or make use of the Super Game Module. There’s also a big update to the ColecoVision software lists, including lots of homebrew software to try out. Other software list additions this month include one of the remaining Bandai RX-78 game cartridges, two more GameKing III games, a batch of MSX2 floppy disks, and the latest Apple II floppy disk dumps.
Of course, we haven’t stopped working on arcade game emulation. For the first time, you can play Konami’s Tokimeki Memorial Oshiete Your Heart games. These spin-offs of the popular dating simulation series used heart rate and galvanic skin resistance sensors and printed the results from your game. What appears to be an early version of Visco’s Kokontouzai Eto Monogatari drop puzzle game has been found and dumped. This version has much less content in the data ROM and a smaller program. Another rare find dumped this month is a production version of the CES Galaxy Games StarPak 4 multi-game cartridge.
Other improvements this month include serial console support for the KIM-1 hobbyist computer and an option to use one binary file per track when extracting CHD CD-ROM images.
