Hi everyone! After four busy weeks, MAME 0.234 is ready! Newly supported systems include Runaway (a licensed version of Sega’s Head On made by Sun Electronics), Konami’s Magical Twin Bee (the European version of Twin Bee Yahhoo!), and Tronica’s LCD hand-held Spider (same program as Space Mission, but with different artwork). Although it was added last month, VS Mahjong Triangle is now working. This is a rare early example of a mahjong game supporting two simultaneous single-player games, or a two-player game – a format popularised a decade later by Psikyo’s Taisen Hot Gimmick.
There have been two significant sets of improvements for 3D arcade games this month: rewritten 3dfx Voodoo Graphics emulation, giving significant performance gains in many cases, and continued development on Konami’s ZR017 and GTI Club hardware. Although not directly related to 3D graphics, bug fixes for the Fujitsu TGP DSP make Motor Raid more playable. We haven’t forgotten 2D arcade games – Namco racing games have seen another round of fixes for missing or incorrectly positioned sprites, and missing sprites are now drawn in Data East’s Chanbara.
For home systems, our friend kmg has been hard at work adding support for pirate NES/Famicom cartridges, and Brian Johnson has fixed a couple of video issues on the Epson QX-10. Kelvin Sherlock added support for the LANceGS card, providing another networking option for Apple II users.

Cet émulateur Apple // pour MacOS a été mis à jour. Attention, il s'agit d'un shareware. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Added a pull down menu to save an Apple II screen as a PNG file. Previously, this function was only available through Applescript.
- If the "shift key modification" has been configured, the initial value of game controller button #2 was incorrect. This has been fixed.
- Improved CPU usage in top-speed mode, in order to reduce the occasional "spinning beach ball" cursor.
- Several improvements "under the hood" in anticipation of future macOS releases.

Une nouvelle beta de cet émulateur Amiga qu'on ne présente plus a été publiée. Voici la liste des nouveautés:
- On the fly PAL/NTSC switch (VPOSW trick or BEAMCON0) incorrectly adjusted screen width in some situations. Height is now adjusted relative to total vertical lines, some games use VPOSW trick to generate 56Hz mode which was previously scaled as NTSC.
- Programmed mode (BEAMCON0 bit 7 set) with PAL/NTSC like parameters are not anymore considered as VGA-like.
- Hardwired vblank end line was 1 too late.
- Fixed repeating autoresize.
- Yet another HBLANK related undocumented feature: HBLANK start enables border. If HBLANK start is moved to visible area and bitplanes are active during HBLANK: border gets re-activated and bitplane re-starts when next BPL1DAT write happens. This probably can't be used for anything useful because display's black level detection will get confused (weird colors, wrong black level etc) if HSYNC period is not blanked.
- And another undocumented feature: if horizontal display window was closed due to HBLANK and next BPL1DAT access is close enough (and after HBLANK end in visible region, so probably can only happen in bitplane overun condition, normally shift registers empty and only background color is shown), display window opens 1.5 lores pixel early, showing previous BPL1DAT loaded pixel pattern.
- Horizontal diw now works correctly even if display horizontally "wraps around" due to (much) larger than normal HSYNC position.
- Light gun/pen fix.
- Partial fix to cycle-exact + MMU emulation (but could also happen without MMU) weird copper behavior. Internal cycle counter was not always guaranteed to be chipset cycle aligned.
- GUI lists (for example Hardware info) column DPI support.
- Fixed D3D11 OSD led crash (D3D9 worked) if display moved monitors and they had different DPI.
- Fixed RTG unexpected display size/scaling, introduces few betas ago.
- Fixed RTG related crash when switching fullscreen modes (possibly also in other modes).
- Fixed chipset emulation buffer overflow in some programmed modes, buffers need to be slightly larger now that vertical "overrun" is supported.

Chipset update is almost done but there is still some hopefully minor (and hopefully it stays minor) "weird screen mode" side-effects remaining..
- usegfx Picasso96 DISPLAYCHAIN is now only forced if uaegfx monitor is monitor id=0 (shared with native chipset). Previously DISPLAYCHAIN was always forced.
- uaegfx in other monitor than native: uaegfx window was tiny before it resized to selected Picasso96 resolution. Now reset default is 640x480 instead of 0x0. uaegfx window also didn't re-open after reset.
- Extra multi monitor mode window positions are now stored to registry/ini.
- Bitplane wrap around (extreme bitplane overrun condition where BPLxDAT fetches before hsync start are visible after hsync end) is now fully supported.
- Sprite fix (Shadow of the Beast 3 missing sprite)
- Adjusted extreme overscan positioning and filter (for example integer scaling) support improved.
- Two (or more) horizontal DIWSTRT/STOP regions are now supported. Previously only first region was visible.
- Programmed mode WB modes should now have 100% correct vertical and horizontal blanking. Hardwired blanking is now correct in overscan+ modes.

Cet émulateur Commodore 64 a été mis à jour. Les notes de versions n'existent qu'en allemand, mais sachez que l'émulateur lui même peut-être réglé pour être en anglais:

- Es kann zu einem Absturz kommen wenn Emu64 das erste mal gestartet wird und dann das "User Farbpalette Fenster" geöffnet wird. Emu64 kann dann einfach neu gestartet werden und das "User Farbpalette Fenster" lässt sich dann öffnen.
- Es kann auch vor dem ersten Starten die alte emu64.ini gelöscht werden (Empfohlen).

- Bugfix: [#192] Emu64 wird jetzt sauber beendet, auch wenn in der C64Class::OnInit ein Fehler auftritt. Das Log sollte dann - auch sauber geschrieben sein.
- SDL Fehler werden nun besser geloggt.
- Soundbuffer Size wird jetzt über die emu64.ini geladen, als default ist 512 angesetzt.
- Sollte eine Soundpuffergröße kleiner als 64 in der ini eingetragen sein, so wird die Soundbuffergröße auf 64 gesetzt.

Une nouvelle version de ce frontend pour Mednafen a été publiée. Voici la liste des changements:
- Updated FPS display position parameters
- Fixed a regression that prevented the filtering of games by region on the icon menu

- Added a complete rom filter that include both "region" "game name" and "genre" (unluckly no support for headerless rom and cd based games)
- Added on "File Manager" box, "Clone file to" another path (useful to move games filtered by genre, name, region into a specific directory "You say external microsd?")
- Added new MetroMed release v0.11 with a new list grid layout

Ce émulateur Amstrad CPC a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Complete emulation of an M4 Board (http://www.spinpoint.org) using a host directory as drive C: (i. e. SD card; even for SymbOS), including network/internet connections, dynamic ROM simulation and (replaceable) Hack ROM (lower ROM). Many thanks to Duke for providing information and staying patient!
- CRTC emulation of type 0 (register 8) and type 1 (register 6) even better than before.
- HYSNC and VSYNC emulation still a bit improved.
- Online help updated.
- Mouse pointer visible on movements.
- Correction of many small and big errors (in particular, 576 KB RAM work correctly now for the first time after decades) and improved error reporting.
