La liste des versions beta de WinUAE s'allonge. Voici les nouveautés apportées:
- Left edge display limit fix, it was correct when in lores but OCS/ECS hires max overscan (or AGA in 16-bit fetchmode) can start 8 pixels earlier. (ECS SuperPlus missing left edge)
- Tweaked programmed mode sync positioning algorithm.
- Use config file gfx_top_windowed and gfx_left_windowed top/left window coordinates if borderless mode.
- Sort filter presets alphabetically.
- When calculating autoscale position, restrict left and right side of display inside hsync end and start positions, fixes really wide display in promoted modes. Note that autoscale can't work correctly in (some?) promoted modes because viewable area is larger than visible bitmap = borders are visible.
- DirectDraw mode wasn't re-initialized correctly when window size changed causing blank screen.
- Borderblank didn't blank topmost lines and last line. (Old bug which usually wasn't visible until now)
- Clear display decision tables when switching modes to prevent old, now possibly unvailable lines to be visible in new mode.
- Possible fix for mouse pointer jumping to (0,0) when pressing buttons and running on some virtual machines. (2.3.3)

 Insolite: un émulateur ZX-Spectrum dans GoldenEye 007!

Les développeurs de RARE étaient des petits cachotiers en 1997. Le mythique GoldenEye 007 cache en effet dans les entrailles de sa cartouche un émulateur ZX-Spectrum avec une douzaine de jeux de RARE (qui a fait ses premiers jeux sur ZX-Spectrum en 1984) inclus. Cette fonction n'est néanmoins pas accessible par des moyens conventionnels. Vous aurez tous les détails dans l'article (en anglais) en lien ci-dessous.

Ce build de Project64 supportant Kaillera a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- List of working Kaillera Servers all around the world
- Replaced plugins with Pj64 1.4 build plugins
- Max Cheats set so there isn't Lag in cheats.
- Kailleraclient Maximize removed (No more hidden client glitches)
- Removed Nrage 2.x it has issues with a lot of people, 1.6 works fine.

MESS profite de la mise à jour de MAME pour avoir une nouvelle version. Le site officiel étant revenu en ligne mais pas encore complètement remis, les fichiers compilés ne sont toujours pas disponibles. Vous pourrez encore uen fois vous rabattre vers MESSUI. Voici la liste des nouveautés:

Cette nouvelle série de beta pour WinUAE a redémarré sur les chapeaux de roue. D'ailleurs, voici encore une nouvelle version. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- On screen led status line was drawn using both D3D sprite and directly to bitmap methods in D3D no-filter mode (b2).
- Removed PAL/NTSC vertical scaling hack which is not needed anymore.
- PAL/NTSC vertical scaling added to Fullscreen (TV)/(Max) filter modes.
- Fullscreen (TV)/(Max) also handles programmed modes like real monitor would, positioning and scaling using sync parameters.
- Fake 60Hz (VPOSW poking) did nothing. (2.4)
- DirectDraw + null filter crash fixed when display height was smaller than emulated display height. (b2)
- D3D overlay mask scaling artifact in some resolutions (2.4)
- CDFS CD drive statefile support.
- Ignore duplicate HID button IDs.
- Reduced flicker when refresh rate changes (PAL<>NTSC or other mode changes)

 Mednafen v0.9.21 WIP (Unstable)

Cet émulateur multi-systèmes a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Updated the internal copy of libmpcdec to r475(which supports SV8, whereas the version in Mednafen previously only supported up to SV7), and updated the CD audio file reading code to use the new API, fixing a few problems(with variable initialization, and seeking) n the process.
- SNES, PSX: Moved cleanup/deallocation code into a separate Cleanup() function, and call Cleanup() instead of CloseGame() in case of error during file loading, to prevent nonvolatile saved memory deletion in case of error.
- SNES: 8MiB of memory is now allocated for the ROM image buffer passed to bsnes, regardless of actual ROM image size, to work around potential design flaws in the bsnes cart loading code to prevent emulator crashes with malformed or corrupted ROM images.
- SNES: Added an 8MiB limit maximum ROM image size limit.
- Updated the internal copy of tremor to SVN revision 18222, and imported and merged in libogg 1.3.0, since SVN tremor no longer has its own libogg implementation(and hasn't for some time apparently!).
- PSX: Added draw time penalty for texturing on polygons.
- SNES: Began adding SNSF support.
- SNES: Added default mouse button assignments to emulated mice, and default key assignments to the emulated gamepad on the first port.
- Fixed a big bug in the CUE sheet parser that caused wrong track addresses/LBAs with multi-data/bin-file CD rips where the pregap data is included in the binary image via "INDEX 00/INDEX 01" directives in the CUE sheet(which is a common form for PSX CD rips).
- PSX: Added draw time penalty for goraud/gradient polygon shading.
- PSX: Reduced draw time penalty for having transparency enabled, and added a draw time penalty for mask evaluation, per a quick, noncomprehensive test on a PS1(more thorough testing in the future is warranted) on a flat-shaded triangle.
- PSX: Reduced triangle coordinate integer component precision, and reduced the maximum allowed triangle height to 512; fixes some graphical glitches in "Fighting Force 2".
- PSX: Added SPU RAM editing(as opposed to simply viewing, as before) capability to the debugger.
- PSX: Noise mode being enabled on a voice will now suppress ADPCM block flags effecting an ADSR release, per tests on a PS1.
- PSX: Revamped SPU IRQ to fix lockups in "Eithea". Tests need to be run on a PS1 to make sure the fix is correct, but the fix is derived from plausible hypothetical behavior.
- PSX: Added emulation of some bits of the SPU status "register" at 0x1F801DAE.
- PSX: Brought SPU DMA timing closer to what it is on actual PS1 in game usage cases(more accurate timing than this will require significantly more SPU emulation work). This should fix sound glitches in the "Legend of Mana" FMV sequences.
- PSX: Reverse OT clear DMA is now emulated as halting the CPU, per tests on a PS1(though further tests are needed, the DMA controller "halting" is likely more complex than simply halting the CPU unconditionally while the DMA runs; and even in a C program, the halting effect does not occur immediately, but is slightly delayed, which is not emulated).
- PSX: Improved CDC DMA timing slightly.
- PSX: Bit 28 of a channel control register is now cleared on DMA completion of that channel, per tests on a PS1.
- PSX: Mute/Demute is now implemented for CD-XA playback as well as CD-DA playback.
- PSX: SPU control register bit14(mask 0x4000, the mute bit) no longer affects CD audio output, per a test on a PS1.
- PSX: Added emulation of SPU registers available at [0x1F801E00, 0x1F801E80).
- NGP, VB, GBA: Implemented minor optimizations for when running on PowerPC.
- PSX: Added support for running on big-endian hosts, and added PowerPC-specific optimizations(AltiVec IDCT for MDEC, and load/store byte-reverse instructions via inline assembly for memory accesses). A 1.42GHz PowerMac G4 system is more than fast enough to play PSFs(especially with the idle loop detection speed hack added earlier), but is much too slow to play games at full speed.
- NES: Fixed Famicom Arkanoid controller emulation, thanks to raz0red for reporting that it was completely borked.
- Fixed a compilation problem with gcc 4.7-prerelease, reported by belegdol.
- PSX: Fixed a mnemonic typo in the disassembler for "sltu", thanks to zeromus for reporting it.
- PSX: Altered DMA abort behavior to try to prevent lockups in some games.
- PSX: Fixed a potential buffer overflow crash when playing a PSF if the PSF tries to enable GPU video output.
- PSX: Added a simple idle loop detection speed hack to the CPU core, used only during PSF playback.
- PSX: Removed the InBDSlot variable, rolling its functionality into an interpretation of the lower 2 bits of the "new_PC_mask" variable.
- Fixed a spelling error in a 3D mode setting in vb/vb.cpp
- Added some missing typecasts in src/file.cpp.
- Fixed a bug in the interpolation pixel shaders code that could cause a shader compilation error on some OpenGL implementations.

 EMU7800 v1.3

Cet émulatur Atari 7800 et 2600 pour Windows a été mis à jour; Voici la liste des nouveautés:
- Discovered that Asteroids, Pole Position, and Xevious use a scheme to detect the joystick type (2600 vs. 7800) and alters the controller mapping accordingly. Brakes now work in Pole Position and missles and bombs are on separate joystick buttons in Xevious (thanks to Tom Hafner for the hardware report)
- Moved VBLANK OFF up by four scanlines, making the track selection screen in Pole Position II work with the joystick (thanks to Tom Hafner for the hardware report)
- Added support for the 2600-daptor II device, enabling use of real 7800 joysticks and 2600 keypad controllers
- Changed default keyboard bindings such that Z=Left 7800 Fire Button and X=Right 7800 Fire Button (previously transposed)
- Serialization fixed for the 78S4 cart type, affecting Karateka, RealSports: Baseball, Tank Command, and Water Ski
- Fixed: Integration of .zip format for ROM files prevented use of 7800 BIOS startup screen
