- Now the emulator is separate from other Project 64k 0.13 versions this should stop (Some) of the lag and or desyncs. I suggest using MUPEN64K if you want to play anything besides Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart 64. I've also re-added the CTRL-C shortcut, as well as fixing the full screen issue, after having open and closed your cheats.  Raine v0.62.2
Jeudi 04/07/13 à 19:38 par Firebrand
Cette nouvelle version n'apporte que des correctifs après que l'auteur ait reçu un important bug report. Voici ce qui a été fait pour l'instant:
- Except that for neogeo, if you tested 0.62 and got a red message about protection (telling that your mvs board is a copy), then you should delete the neogeo.saveram in your savedata folder. This happened if running for the 1st time one of the kof games in arcade mode. This is fixed now, but since the game will not test again if the test failed once, you need to remove the file, or install raine in a new dir.
- Also the -listinfo/-gameinfo command line option is finally reliable, and I added -li to type less for the same result (useful for dat utilities), and a stupid crash when loading a 2nd neogeo game is fixed.

 Stella v3.9.0
Samedi 29/06/13 à 11:31 par Firebrand
Cet émulateur Atari 2600 a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Greatly extended functionality of the debugger disassembly:
*There is now a new tab which lists information specific to the cartridge bankswitching scheme in use. This includes the ability to modify internal state even for esoteric ROMs which don't follow the standard layout of 4K per bank.
*The debugger now generates DASM-compatible disassembled code, which can be saved to an external file. This disassembly is based on both a static and runtime analysis, and is extremely accurate. It also automatically differentiates between CODE/PGFX/GFX/DATA/ROW areas, whereas normal Distella only differentiates between CODE/GFX/ROW. For now, only single-bank (4K and smaller) ROMs are supported; support for multi-bank ROMs will come in a future release.
*The disassembly now recognizes various TIA/RIOT read/write mirrors, and marks them as such (for example, INPT4|$30 instead of INPT4 for address $3C). Special thanks to Omegamatrix for sample code and idea for this feature.
*ROMS less than 2K in size (so called 'Sub2K' ROMs) now show only the actual data in the binary. This means, for example, that a 256 byte ROM will show only 256 bytes in the disassembly, instead of padding duplicated data to 2K boundary.
*Fixed bug when entering patched bytes; the current number base wasn't being used.
*Fixed labelling in ROW directives; it wasn't accurately setting a label in the case where it occurred in the middle of the data.
*Added a new dialog for changing Distella settings, located by right-clicking the disassembly code.
*The commandline option 'dis.resolvedata' has been renamed to 'dis.resolve', with new usage (see manual for further details).
- Fixed regression in handling ZIP files (as compared to version 3.7.5) created with newer versions of the ZIP program. Related to this, added better error messages for invalid/missing/unreadable ROM files.
- Added 'snapname' commandline argument and associated UI item, for specifying whether snapshots should be saved using either the internal ROM database name or the actual ROM filename. This feature was present in older releases of Stella, and due to popular demand it's now back again. Related to this, added a new dialog specifically for the numerous snapshot-related items.
- Fixed bug in Linux/OSX versions when starting Stella for the first time; it was previously creating mislabeled directories to store settings, snapshots, etc.
- Fixed redundant "New console created" message when entering the same ROM multiple times from the ROM launcher.
- Updated profile database for "BasketBall" ROMs; the joysticks are now swapped by default, which allows one and two-player games to work correctly.
- SuperCharger/AR ROMs now ignore the 'ramrandom' setting, and start with RAM containing all zeroes. This seems to fix issues with Dragonstomper always starting in exactly the same state.
- Fixed issue when debugging CompuMate ROMs; keystrokes entered while debugging would be interpreted as typing on the CompuMate keyboard.
- Changed colour of the 'current PC indicator' in the debugger to match the one used for line selection. This makes it easier to see for those with problems seeing lighter colours.
- Improved functionality of the various pop-up dialogs and context menus in the UI; they can now be navigated more fully by the keyboard and mouse.
- Updated internal ROM properties database to ROM-Hunter version 9 (thanks go to RomHunter for his tireless research in this area). Related to this, updated the snapshot collection.
- Updated included PNG and ZLIB libraries to latest stable version.

 Emu Loader v7.0
Jeudi 27/06/13 à 19:43 par Firebrand
Une version majeure de ce frontend a été publiée. Voici la longue liste des améliorations:
Fixed
- FATAL BUG: image zip content lists were not being re-initialized after switching images categories/layouts. Only fixed by restarting the application
- Application crash when creating games lists or auditing games. Equal chars ( = ) of ROM names replaced by by minus chars ( - )
- All ROM names are now checked for HTML tags, fixing A LOT of unusual ROM names (cosmetic fix)
- False "file not found" messages due to a couple variables not being handled correctly at frontend's startup (cosmetic fix)
- Wrong system icon and game name in Emu Loader's "Select File" custom dialog (cosmetic fix)
- Fatal bug haunting Emu Loader for more than a year! When game is already set as missing, ROMs list was not being updated in "system_name.miss" files after auditing... games with device sets were the most affected. This was a big problem as available ROMs were being shown as missing, making it impossible to update ROM sets. I don't know how I could have missed this for so long!!!
- Several minor fixes, app settings and cosmetic fixes
- Images layout feature was being initialized TWICE at startup!!!
- Images splitter grip icon not being set at startup if setting was disabled
- Minor bug preventing EL from deleting "arcade\systemname.miss"
- Columns could be clicked while in grouped view... this mode does not allow sorting for obvious reasons

Changed
- File "biosset.ini" is only used for MAME now. This file's purpose is to change the bios used on systems with multiple bios sets (like Neo-Geo). This prevents other emulators from messing this file up
- MAMu_ icons folders unified into a single folder. Select folder is now in Preferences screen, "Games List" page. Relative path is supported (relative to Emu Loader). EL use the same icons for all systems, but the following systems can be in a sub-folder (not required):
*ZiNc: "mamu_icons_dir\zinc\"
*DICE: "mamu_icons_dir\dice\"
- Option "Run Game [AlterMAME]" is gone (games popup menu), and a new "Autorun Game with AlterMAME" menu item is added (ON/OFF toggle). Feature is located in emulators setup screen and in games popup menu. Just choose an alternate MAME build in Emulator Setup screen, run game normally. If it fails (MAME exit code 2), Emu Loader will try to re-run the game using AlterMAME executable. The AlterMAME feature now works as it was originally intended...
Feature "Show Game Docs" now display info for MAME only. No point showing info on other systems

Improved
- Several tweaks and optimizations everywhere
- Favorites list is always loaded with games list now, regardless of the feature being enabled or not. This causes a tremendous speed up when switching favorites on/off. One downside... games list loading can be up to 2.5 seconds slower if you favorites list is larger than three thousand games

Removed
- Settings "Bold font style in selected games" is removed. Pointless feature...
- MAME features "Show Average FPS" and "Show Error Messages" are no more. When running a game with missing ROMs, a error message will popup after exiting the emulator, and the "Game - Details" screen can be open, showing what ROMs are missing for the game... this CANNOT be disabled and it's supported on all systems (except Daphne)
- Button "Delete Image" removed from images tool bar. This feature can only be accessed in images popup menu (mouse right-click)

Added
- Support for MAME 0.149
- New emulator support: HBMAME (HomeBrew MAME), completely independant from MAME: http://hbmame.the-chronicles.org. Most MAME based features are supported
*support for games with multiple bios sets like Neo-Geo (biosset_hbmame.ini)
*partial merged sets support (just like MAME)
*game custom settings
*game audio samples detection. also, scan for audio samples in "Games List" main menu
*features from "Run Game (Extra)" games popup menu are supported - NO support for mameinfo.dat, history.dat and other docs
*support for catver.ini, languages.ini and others
*detection of device sets and games with CHDs
*AlterMAME is NOT supported
- New emulator support: DICE: Discrete Integrated Circuit Emulator
*it uses an external ClrMAME XML games list "DICE_xml.dat", created by myself specially for Emu Loader. It has more game info compared to regular XML lists
*ROMs folder cannot be customized. ROMs sets, zipped only, must be placed in DICE's own "roms" sub-folder
*Games with no ROMs are set as available
- Display orientation, number of players and controls types are now extracted from external ClrMAME XML .dat files, if available. This is mostly for DICE...
- Support for zipped MAMu_ Icons (icons.zip). YES you read it right! Notes:
*for ZiNc games, icons from "icons\zinc\" sub-folder are used, if found but it's not required
*for DICE games, icons from "icons\dice\" sub-folder are used, if found, to avoid mixing with MAME icons (not required)
*MAMEUI icons do not have those special sub-folders. Icons from the root .zip folder are used instead
- New setting: "Dark Font Selection Bar", for those who want to use a white font in games list (preferences screen, Games List tab)
- Multi-column sorting. Sort by 2 different columns at the same time (request). Usage: click on first column header, then hold Ctrl key and click on a second column header. Notes:
*this is a hack and extremely experimental... not a true multi-column sort implementation!
*it only works with ascending sort (A to Z)
*only works with details view mode
- Re-added screen resolution and screen refresh rate info in games list columns

 Hatari v1.7.0
Mardi 25/06/13 à 19:58 par Firebrand
Cet émulateur Atari ST a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
Emulation:
- TT video emulation :
*Extend the ST palette registers from 9bit to 12bit for ST modes
*Duochrome mode instead of monochrome for ST High
*Implementation of SampleHold in TT Hypermono video mode
- Sound changes :
*Better model of the YM2149 noise generation (no noticeable audible impact)
*Slightly better volume table (measured by Paulo Simoes on a real ST)
- CPU changes :
*Added experimental MMU emulation for the 68030 mode
*Handle the IACK cycles during an exception for HBL/VBL
- ACIA/IKBD changes :
*Full implementation of the MC6850 ACIA, giving much more robust IKBD emulation
*Better timings for all IKBD commands (measured on a real STF)
*Clock is handled internally in IKBD, host date/time is used only to initialize RTC at boot. I.e. pausing emulation doesn't cause time skips when unpausing
*Fix slow mouse when absolute mode is used with scale values
- MFP changes :
*Fixed priority errors when simultaneous interrupts happened
*MFP's IRQ should be delayed by 4 cycles before reaching the CPU
*MFP's IRQ signal was not correctly updated in some cases
*Handle the IACK cycles between CPU and MFP during an exception
- FDC changes :
*Better delays for all the GAPs inside a track
*Emulate the disk's rotation and its angular position to get accurate delays when accessing a sector header
*Internal timer for FDC was wrong and sometimes slower than expected
*Correct delay for type I commands with "verify" bit=1
- GEMDOS HD emulation changes :
*Support Fforce() for GEMDOS HD emulated files and close at Pterm*() all internal handles to emulated files program had left open
*Fix: cut file and dir names to 8+3 chars like all TOS versions do
* Fix: GEMDOS HD emulation overwrote last 28 bytes of basepage space for the started process command line (with the program header)
*Fix: Fwrite() content wasn't flushed to disk on each write, so later Fopen() + Fread()s calls on such files (if they were not closed in the meanwhile) could get data that was out of date.
*Fix: Dfree() return value

Emulator:
- Fix: problems with run-time CPU type changing
- Fix: MIDI IRQs were not enabled if MIDI was enabled at run-time. MIDI toggling will now imply reset
- Much improved console redirection functionality and a separate --conout option for it (--bios-intercept doesn't anymore imply console redirection)
- Fixed a bug with the axes' mapping in the joystick's detection
- Display handling:
*Fix: max resolution limit wasn't handled properly for ST mode.
*Don't change TOS-calculated font size for VDI mode.
*Setup NVRAM video mode based on VDI mode, when in VDI mode. This makes VDI mode work with EmuTOS also under Falcon emulation which is useful as EmuTOS doesn't support native VIDEL expanders
*Limit VDI screen memory usage to 300kB, this allows upto 2048x1200 monochrome and 1024x600/800x768 16-color VDI screens
- GEMDOS HD emulation:
*Fix: to DTA host filename cutting to 8+3 chars when whole filename was < 12 chars (caused EmuTOS crash)
*Give warning if GEMDOS dir/file path exceeds 8+3 characters (as those won't work with real TOS)
*New --gemdos-case option to specify whether new dir/filenames are forced to be created in upper (default) or lower case
*Giving empty string as GEMDOS HD dir disables GEMDOS HD emulation
- SDL GUI:
*Fileselector has "CWD" button for changing to Hatari's work directory
*Fileselector remembers previous position which is nicer with large directories
*Make the drive leds blink with a brighter green when the FDC is executing a command
- Profiler:
*Fix: profiler assert on invalid PC register values
*Fix: profiler usage in debugger files invoked by breakpoints
*Fix: profiler CPU & DSP cycles information is for previous instruction
*Fix: WinUAE CPU requires cycles counter usage for getting current CPU instruction cycles
*Profiler provides timing information, based on used cycles
*Profiler provides CPU instruction cache misses information when using cycle-exact WinUAE CPU core (which is Falcon emu default)
*Profiler top instruction count/cycles/misses lists show the related instructions
*For DSP, profiler adds min/max cycle difference info to disassembly
*New "addresses" subcommand can be used to see addresses through which code passed during profiling (e.g. while program seems frozen, this gives much better overview of code that is being run, than cpu trace)
*New "callers" subcommand lists all addresses from which loaded symbols' addresses were "called" from. This way one can e.g. find in which contexts interrupt handlers were called and it can be used to construction program execution callgraph
*New "save" subcommand saves profile address and caller information to given file, with extra information needed for post-processing
*New "stack" subcommand that can be used to get backtraces during profiling with symbols, for ':noinit' backtraces
- Debugger:
*New ':noinit' and ':quiet' breakpoint options. Quiet option removes most of breakpoint matching "noise" and ':noinit' breakpoints can be used with "profile stack" command, to prevent profile data and related callstack information from being reseted on breakpoint match
*"blitter" and "dsp" subcommand added to "info" command, to show blitter register values and DSP state (e.g. stack content)
*"prg" subcommand added to "symbols" command, for loading debug symbols from DRI/GST symbol table in last started program
*"step" and "next" commands added for single stepping CPU and DSP code -> 's' shortcut is now for "step", not "save"
*"--disasm" option for selecting between UAE core and external CPU code dissassembler and setting output option flags for latter
*When -D option is used, also undefined/illegal DSP instructions and DSP stack under/overflows invoke debugger, not just CPU issues
*Fix: when several breakpoints should have triggered on the same address, only first was handled
*Fix: after breakpoint, 'c ' continues one instruction too little
*Fix: tracking breakpoint values were updated only when all conditions matched, now they can be also used together with other conditions
*Fix: info command crash (triggered on NetBSD)
*Fix: disassember output bug on NetBSD (usigned char < -1 test)
*Fix: info osheader and basebase subcommands under MiNT
*Fix: debugger history duplicates removal
*Fix: expression expanding CPU "pc" for DSP shortcut commands
*Fix: expression expansion messing lines in command line history
*Remote API debugger commands can also use expression expansion
*Both single and double quotes can be used to mark expressions
*In addition to text section offset, data and bss section offsets can be given when loading symbols (useful for Devpac symbols)
*Output what value was set by options if it's not otherwise shown by UI
*New 'cpu' and 'dsp' options to 'history' command for tracing just one of these processors on Falcon
*Function arguments are shown in traces for all non-MiNT GEMDOS calls and subset of arguments are now shown also for AES calls (values in intin array and strings in addrin array)
*Add NVRAM read & write tracing
*Support for the basic Native Features and --natfeats option to control it: http://wiki.aranym.org/natfeats/proposal

Windows specific changes:
- "-W" option added for opening a console window. Like on all other platforms, "-D" will now just toggle CPU exception handling
- Fix: console stderr redirection (used invalid "wr" mode)
- Fix Windows localtime() not supporting dates before 1970:
*TOS not being able to access files with such dates, or further files
*causing IKBD emulation crashes (wasn't problem with Cygwin, just with Mingw builds)

Tool updates:
- New hatari-profiler.py script for post-processing output from profiler's CPU and DSP profiling "save" commands:
profile save
dspprofile save
*With symbol address information it can provide function level instruction, processor cycle & i-cache miss statistics
*With callers information it can create function call callgraphs and create callgrind format files for Kcachegrind GUI
- New gst2ascii tool to extract DRI/GST symbol table from Atari program, for use with the profile data post-processor
- Added scripts for converting symbol tables in Devpac 3 listings and DSP LOD files to a format understood by Hatari debugger 'symbols' command, and to clean 'nm' output of GCC & VBCC built a.out binaries for it

Other changes:
- HTML documentation indeces generated dynamically with JS
- Debugger tests building fixed

Fixed Games:
- Atomix (MFP, flickering bottom of the screen during samples)
- BBC 52 Menu (Video/CPU, top border not removed)
- Bolo (MFP, couldn't start a game)
- Captain Blood (IKBD, fixed problem when setting the clock)

 PCSX-Reloaded v85493 (22/06/2013)
Dimanche 23/06/13 à 11:37 par Firebrand
La version MacOS de cet émulateur présente sur notre site avait besoin d'un rafraîchissement. Voici les nouveautés apportées enter les 2 versions:
- Modify the Memory Object class a little bit. Some minor changes.
- Fixing a deadlock in PeopsSoftGL's shader code.
- Handle getting passed "files" that are actually command line options. This has the side effect of rejecting nonexistant files as well.
- Add an edit menu to OS X's menu bar.
- Minor spacing changes.
- Enable logging in the debug build.
- Warn if we are passed multiple memory cards of the same type from the command line.
- Add a common method to set up the emulation thread.
- Ignore files passed via the command line if we're parsing.
- Calls to GUI functions should happen on the main thread. Put the [NSApp presentError:] in a block to the main thread.
- Put some bools in PcsxrController inside a struct with a size of 1.
- Adding some rudimentary command line support for OS X
- Adding the pauseSafeWithBlock declaration to the EmuThread header.
- Make OS X use LidInterrupt.
- PSXCPU_LOG for dynarec64 (dumped only compile). Dump log only if PSXCPU_LOG defined and Config.PsxOut option is used. Minor code polishments.
- Since we haven't stated we can't open more than one file in OS X' cheat open file box, handle if we open more than one file.
- GTK: generate 'CD lid open/close event' automagically when switching ISO images. No need to press F9 & F10 anymore when a game wants to change CDs.
- Dynarec64: fixed CART World Series freeze. Issue #10846.
- Prevent deadlocking when saving states on OS X.
- Win32: fix crash if direct sound initialization fails.
- Win32: Build place DLLs to solution dir (where pcsxr.exe is)
- Win32: Use MFC if it is available. Otherwise Windows headers and recources. Now can be build on Visual Studio Express edition.
- Win32: CDR plugin is not mandatory to have since there is build-in ISO support.
-Patch 14419 (0KgaSChgRDOPtzXyC);
- Patch 14294 (KrossX2);
- Sio1 plugin has been enabled by default for Windows;
- Hook up one of the shader selectors.
