Ce bon émulateur Super Nintendo a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
This is a small release for a bunch of little things that have accumulated. Big changes behind the hood are a change to the tile renderer so that it builds much quicker, and a swap of the Gtk port to C++ bindings, both of which should be unnoticeable. Michael Buckley also wrote a completely new macOS port, due to the complete deprecation of the classic APIs the old port used.

- Restructured tile.cpp tile renderer from heavy macros into C++
templates, significantly lowering compile time. (yoffy)
- MichaelBuckley provided a brand new MacOS port that is completely
rewritten based on newer, supported APIs.
- Fixed an out-of-bound memory access in sound DSP. (Sour, byuu)
- Revert default SFX2 clock speed increase.
- Added a render position hack. Fixes glitches in several games.
- Allow an SRAM mapping up to 128KB.

Win32:
- Apply turbo mode volume when rewinding.
- Added menu entry to load oops files, and an option to confirm before
saving or loading states.
- Fixed sound volume resetting when sound reinitializes.
- Added a save-state preview dialog.
- Added save banks for up to 100 states
- Added support for relative-style save slots
- Fixed blargg rf filter.
- Show command line options on -h and /?

Gtk:
- Added an option to show time. (taimoorgit)
- Use a submodule for glslang, because it doesn't guarantee API stability.
- Switched to GTK's C++ interface, gtkmm3. This effectively drops
GTK+ 2.0 support.
- Joysticks can now be hotplugged. (jraby)

Unix:

Cet émulateur multi-systèmes a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
ares v127 brings significant improvements to Mega Drive and Nintendo 64 emulation, as well as improvements to NES / Famicom and SNES / Super Famicom.
Other than the usual emulation improvements, there have been the following notable

changes:
- Apple Silicon Support
*ares v127 fixes the recompiler for aarch64 architecture, meaning that it is now possible to create Apple Silicon/M1 native builds, without relying on Rosetta and without losing support for the high performance JIT recompilers.
*In order to be Apple Silicon Native, it is currently required to compile ares from source code as automated builds have not yet been configured, but users who wish to do so will no longer lose functionality or suffer poor performance as a result.
- MAME RDP
*ares's Nintendo 64 core uses paraLLEl-RDP by default; this brings fast and accurate RDP emulation as long as Vulkan is present on the users machine; this meant that Nintendo 64 emulation was completely broken for all configurations without Vulkan support, including macOS.
*ares v127 adds support for MAME's RDP implementation as a fallback, allowing Nintendo 64 emulation to be used when Vulkan is not present. This is handled automatically, however, a new option has been added to video settings to allow Vulkan support to be toggled, giving all users the ability to test the MAME RDP, if they wish to do so.
*Although MAME RDP is now an option, paraLLEl-RDP is still the recommended choice, for both performance and accuracy.
- Pixel Accuracy Mode
*ares has contains two implementations of some of our emulated hardware; one optimised for performance, and another optimised for accuracy. Historically, the choice of which path to use has never been exposed to the user; higan always used the 'accurate' profiles, with ares always opting for the 'performance' profiles; any user wishing to change this would be required to compile ares themselves from source.
*As of ares v127, we now provide a new option in the emulator settings: "Pixel Accuracy"; when this is enabled, any emulator core that supports a pixel accurate mode will use it.
*For 99% of games, the default fast profiles will be sufficient, but enabling "Pixel Accuracy" allows games that require mid-scanline effects, such as the infamous "Air Strike Patrol" to function properly.
*The following systems are currently support the Pixel Accuracy setting:

Cet émulateur arcade a été mis à jour. Il nécessite de nouvelles dlls à télécharger sur la fiche de l'émulateur. Voici les changements apportés:
- This binary is only about the sound associations, particularly those related to kof2001, so if you are not interested in this, you can skip this one because it changes the colors encoding so if you load it with a previous config file you'll need to use the "revert to" command from the colors menu in options. It also includes a new dll for libmpg123, which is included in the archive for this version, it will go to the dlls package soon for the next versions.

Today's build features numerous accuracy fixes centered around the APU and DMA, fixing a handful of failing test programs.

Update APU:
- Length counter values now match silicon, adjusted by 1 in code
- NoiseFreq, PCMFreq, and FrameCycles now match silicon, counting APU cycles
- Square0, Square1, Noise, DPCM, and Frame now respect APU clock phase
- DPCM Addr+Ctr Reload/Increment events are now delayed correctly
- APU Clock Phase is now incremented after CPU I/O, not before

Update CPU:
- Move DMA logic into its own function
- Rename MemGet -> MemGetCPU, create "MemGetDMA" to eliminate recursion in DMA logic
- Fix DMA timing to correctly emulate PCM DMA interrupting Sprite DMA
- Add macros "MemGetData" and "MemGetMiss" which point at MemGetCPU
- Implement SYA/SHY and SXA/SHX instructions

Update PPU:
- Delay setting sprite 0 hit in $2002 by 1 pixel to satisfy timing tests

Update savestate format:
- Version 1004
- Cycles for Square0/Square1/Noise/DPCM/Frame are now in APU cycles
- DPCM now tracks Resetting and Incrementing flags
- Frame Counter now tracks Quarter/Half/IRQ/Zero flags
- APU now stores the bottom 8 bits of its internal clock for tracking phase

The following test ROMs now pass:
- instr_test_v5 / 07-abs_xy
- pal_apu_tests / 06-len-timing-mode1
- ppu_sprite_hit / 09-timing
- ppu_sprite_hit / 10-timing_order

Cet émulateur arcade a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont le suivantes:
Yeah, annoyed by a nasty thread bug in 0.93.2 for those who installed without a previous config file, so here is a fix.
Not a few changes except that, 0.93.2 was only 2 days ago, but :
- curl should now know how to download a parent set when needed (not totally sure it will work all the time, but it should).
- A fix for the sound dialog which got some strange strings inside when you tried to change the driver
- And all the rest are memory leak fixes, most of them harmless, but the file selector leaked quite a lot of memory and I hadn't noticed, since it's not used very much it was not a very big deal, but still it's better like that. these fixes are thanks to https://sourceforge.net/projects/memwatch/

- Fix .NES loader to handle small PRG/CHR sizes If sizes are not a multiple of the minimum bank size (4KB PRG, 1KB CHR), data will be be mirrored until they are.
- Tweak timing on some unsupported CPU instructions. Fixes Blargg's 1-instr_timing test.
