Jeudi 27/04/23 à 12:42 par Firebrand
Des correctifs ont été apportés à la dernière version de cet émulateur multi-systèmes. Voici de quoi il s'agit:
- And you got a 0.95.4b, a bug specific to windows and which doesn't happen all the time displayed very weird script error messages. And the lua label was missing for the lua console script for sf2, that's all so it's sill 0.95.4, just an update.

 MAME v0.254 (64-bit)
Jeudi 27/04/23 à 12:18 par Firebrand
La version mensuelle de MAME a été publiée. Voici la liste des améliorations:
MAME 0.254, the most hotly anticipated emulator release in recent memory, is ready today! Yes, it finally happened: the first batch of Namco System 10 games have been emulated! It’s been a real team effort, with contributors around the world working on emulation, cracking encryption, and properly dumping the Flash memory chips. You’ll be able to enjoy Namco’s Mr. Driller 2 and Mr. Driller G, as well as the spin-off Star Trigon. System 10 was home to Mitchell’s final two arcade games, Gamshara and Kono e Tako. From Metro, there are two GAHAHA Ippatsudou mini-game collections and the two-in-one mahjong tile puzzle game GekiToride-Jong Space. Other working Namco games include Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan, Panikuru Panekuru, and Uchuu Daisakusen: Chocovader Contactee.
Quite a few of the System 10 games that are still marked as not working are already playable. Taiko no Tatsujin 2, 4 and 6 are playable, although we aren’t confident enough in the timing accuracy of MAME’s PlayStation emulation to mark rhythm games as working at the moment. You can play the light gun shooter Golgo 13: Juusei no Requiem, but it’s missing sounds and voice acting at the moment. Several coin pushers on the closely related WIDEISM SP-02 platform run; you can trigger various animations, but there’s no gameplay as such.
Of course, Namco System 10 emulation isn’t the only thing that’s updated in this release. Almost a dozen Yamaha keyboards based on the GEW7 CPU are now working. Interestingly, their sound synthesis capabilities are closely related to the MultiPCM chip used in various Sega arcade games. Another game from SNK’s early Micon Kit series has been dumped and emulated. There are also two more working Brother word processors and two working Liberty Electronics serial terminals.
Cave CV1000 games now have more realistic blitter performance, meaning you don’t need to tweak settings to get close to the arcade experience. Properly emulating the absence of a memory management unit in the R4650 CPU used by Namco’s System 23 solves crashes in Time Crisis 2. Some fixes in SGI workstation emulation have IRIX running again. A few bugs affecting PC Engine and Virtual Boy games have been fixed. Issues with certain sound effects in classic Konami arcade games have been fixed, too.

 Raine v0.95.4
Mercredi 26/04/23 à 16:04 par Firebrand
Cet émulateur multi-systèmes a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Yeah, ffman1985 was making bigger and bigger scripts which were harder and harder for the old script system, so I tried an lua interface instead, and it made wonders, I can have 0% in Misc with a console script active in linux with the 32 bits version constantly !
- The console scripts are available for xmcotar1d, sfz2ald, sfad, af2, af2j, sf2hf, sf2hfj, sf2ce, sf2cejc. For now the old normal version is still available for comparison, but since we couldn't find any bug it will probably be removed next time. The lua version has [lua] at the end of its title. There is a perl converter to convert from the old scripts to the new lua syntax, but it's useful only for those writing scripts !
- You can read more details about the crazy work from ffman1985 with these scripts there, and post something for him too : https://www.1emulation.com/forums/topic/36859-sharing-of-cheat-used-in-raine/
- This means you get a new dll, it's included in the raine32 and raine64 zip files for now.

Except that :
- some last fixes for the multiple files selector to preload ips dat files
- a setting to disable ips files globally (at the top of the "preload ips dat files" file selector)
- revert a neogeo optimization which made unibios crazy with its strange screensaver (a black screen when using their cheat menu)
- a fix so that keys which open a gui dialog are not seen as always down when returning to the game

 WinUAE v5.0.0 Beta 7
Lundi 24/04/23 à 16:38 par Firebrand
Une nouvelle beta de cet émulateur Amiga a été publiée. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Paths panel string "Configuration files" had disappeared (b6)
- GDI mode, possibly also D3D11 mode had wrong screen positioning/size after mode change in some situations.
- Switching HW RTG modes with scaling enabled: new mode was not always using correct size (b5)
- Input panel "Device enabled" checkbox state was not refreshed when Input mode was changed (Game Ports Panel, Configuration #1-#3).
- Saving config after GUI was opened for the first time without default.uae, then loading it and saving it again: second saved config file was not identical.
- Adjusted "VGA mode resolution autoswitch" switch range, some OS 3.2 native display monitors have been changed and it triggered autoswitch incorrectly.
- Native mode integer scale behavior adjusted. Removed some earlier beta auto-adjustments because they would break programmed modes in integer scaling.
- RTG integer scale didn't support scaling multiplers smaller than 1x. 1/2x and 1/4x is now supported.
- Changed uaegfx Picasso96 BoardName field to "UAE" (was "uaegfx.card"). Now P96Prefs created modes have same prefix as UAE internally generated modes.
- Fixed disassembler FMOVE.L/FMOVEM.L to/from control registers register order (FPCR and FPIAR was swapped)
