Une nouvelle version Beta de ce gestionnaire de ROMs tournant sous Windows est sortie sur son site officiel.
En voici les nouveautés:
- Fix Path overflow in inifile when a lot of rompaths are loaded
- Fix renaming of roms inside mamezipped games
- Fix webdatafile (you can specify a proxy in the ini file)
- Wider datafile combo box
- Zip datafiles imported from mame
- Remember the mame folder when importing datafile

Nouvelle version de cet émulateur MSX et ColecoVision. Voici les nouveautés:

- Added a keyboard editor
- Introduced a plugin structure that allows to add external program (dll's) : debugger and trainer capacities come under this form with the emulator
- Developed a multi-page interface with system infos, audio mixer, video settings and virtual keyboard
- Intern changes for the soundchips emulation that makes possible support for multiple simultaneous chips
- Added support for selectable video resolution in fullscreen mode
- blueMSX shares now with openMSX a rom database in an improved updatable new format ; for a limited period, the old format will still be supported.
- Updated C-BIOS to version 0.20
- Replaced the FM-PAC cartridge in all generic MSX2 machines by the MSX2+ FM chip and the PAC cartridge
- Added a generic MSX2 machine with only the PSG soundchip
- Changed the special machines to make them closer to the real machines (the only exception is 512 Kb RAM in all MSX2, MSX2+ and Turbo-R machines)
- Added a new mapper for the Dutch and Korean MSX-MUSIC cartridges
- Added support for the Sony HBI55 cartridge
- Added complete support for the SVI-328 Floppy Drive Controller
- Added autodetection of video source and support for the SVI-806 video card (80 columns - CRTC6845) ; this feature is also a step for future GFX9000 support
- Added support for 192 Kb VRAM in the V9958 VDP chip
- Improved the Disable Floppy Drive Timing feature
- Added the amber monitor type
- Added support for the Hq2x scaler (and the Hq3x scaler if the emulator runs in fullscreen mode and at least the resolution 1024 x 768)
- Added the RF-Modulator effect
- Improved the filtering for SCC, MSX-MUSIC and MSX-AUDIO
- Added support for parallel and serial ports
- Added preview of the save states
- Added support for the .col files, used for the ColecoVision cartridges
- Fixed different bugs (PSG sounds, save states, MSX-AUDIO initialisation, loss of performance when using menus)
- Fixed sprite bug in Dragon Quest 2 (the title is now displayed correctly)

Ce fontend multi-émulateurs vient être mis à jour pour corriger quelques bugs:
- Fixed - Running game pauses for 4-5 seconds, caused by the hint box.. doh..
- Fixed - Zinc roms not finding proper images with filenames the same as zips.
- Fixed - Number of times played not actually working.

Ce comapgnon indispensable pour les amaterus de gestion de ROMs vient d'être mis à jour. Les améliorations sonr les suivantes:
- added: batchrun option "always remove source" (rebuilder)
- added: batchrun option "don't show statistics" (rebuilder)
- added: batchrun option "always save fixdat" and "always save log" (scanner)
- added: separated scanner checkall/fixall toggles
- misc: autosavefixdat (either scanner or batchrun) doesn't show any prompts anymore if a filename was once setup.
- misc: batchrun window shows number of selected profiles
- misc: progresswindow title switches to "fixing.." when creating nodumps
- misc: some minor menu/dialog changes
- fixed: unneeded check (unmerged and not-all-sets selected only) reacts wrong

Voici une nouvelle version beta de ce gestionnaire de ROMs à l'interface agréable. Voici les améliorations apportées:
- Sublist not working on previous beta. Datutil 2.14 can now generate sublists. See Logiqx utility documentation (included in datutil zip) and this topic.
- 'index out of bound' when duplicates entries in datafile
- Troubles with '[]' in config.ini
Notez que l'installation préliminaire de la version stable v2.62 est nécessaire pour utiliser la beta.

Mise à jour de MESS dans sa version Windows uniquement. Cet émulateur multi système suit généralement en parallèle l'évolution de MAME mais a, lui aussi, un peu de retard cette fois ci. Voici les nouveautés de cette version:

Space1 m'informe par mail de la sortie d'une nouvelle version de son frontend multi-émulateurs pour Windows.
Ici les améliorations:
- onglet Collection = vous entrez les jeux et les systèmes que vous possédés, les jeux et les systèmes que vous voudriez acheter. Vous pouvez aussi afficher les photos de vos jeux et systèmes. Et enfin vous pouvez créér des listes HTML de vos jeux et systèmes.
- 'Nb de Fois Joué', qui vous donne le nombre de fois ou vous avez lancé un jeu.
- 'Jeu Fini ?' = entrer si vous avez fini ou non un jeu et créér ensuite une liste HTML de tous vos jeux finis.
- support des nouvelles icones Zinc et Daphne de Mamu.
- nouveau design pour le Manager de Dats qui est maintenant inclu dans LusSpace, vous pouvez aussi exclure/inclure tous les dats d'une catégorie (clic droit sur la liste dans le Manager de Dats)
- la mise à jour des dats a été revue pour être beaucoup plus rapide en se basant sur la date (merci à VM0606 pour l'idée)
- vous pouvez ajouter vos screenshots pour tous les jeux => clic droit sur l'image puis 'Ajouter votre Screenshot'.

Voici une nouvelle version de ce gestionnaire de ROMs indispensable à tout amateur de gestion de ROMs arcade. Pas mal de nouveautés cette fois ci:
- added: several rebuilder specific options for batchrun
- misc: changed the way fixmissing works
set doesn't exists at all:
. use rompath of a) existing parent b) existing clones
. if a) and b) fails, use 1st rompath
set exists but is incomplete:
. use the rompath of the incomplete set
"use sysdefpaths for fixmissing" is used:
. always use the assigned path
- misc: wrongplaced file gets unneeded when "right place" is a disabled set
- misc: additional prompt (delete all at once) when removing profiles
- misc: profiler datfile info window shows datfilename, too
- misc: some menu textchanges (Save->Setlist)
- misc: some code cleanup concerning the tempfolder
- misc: export dat exports rebuildto tags, too
- misc: rebuilder destination can be a subfolder of the source, it'll get skipped. SysDefPath as destination can't be a sub though.
- fixed: batchrun crashes when using not used/new datfiles
- fixed: backupfolder in default.cmp is ignored for exe-based dats

Voici une nouvelle version de gestionnaire de ROMs de référence. Les nouveautés sont les suivantes:
- fixed: zipclasslibrary had an unhandled exception when using illegal dates
- fixed: batchrun seconds values are saved correctly
- fixed: profiler doesn't allow changes to the exefilename or dat/exetype
- fixed: "move to parent/clone" detection/output issues
- fixed: backuperror appears if zip_addfiles functions contain a wrong filelist
- added: batchrun->fix all/disable all fixes

Cet outil permettant de gérer ses roms à l'aide de fichiers dat est passé en version 3.62. ClrMAME Pro se voit donc amélioré par les éléments suivants...

- misc: rebuilderadv option to add a prestring (and/or variables %m, %s, %y) to the created destination file. %y = year, %s = sourcefile, %m = manufacturer, %b = biosname. Example: "%m\" will create all rebuilt files in their belonging manufacturer subfolder, while "%y - " will add a year string to the set (e.g. "1980 - pacman.zip"). You can combine the vars of course...something like %m\%b\%y ;) When using "\" for subfolders be sure you don't run into trouble when the vars get replaced with empty (non existing) entries. Anyway...a little toy to play with ;)
- misc: changed the setname fuzzycheck. Old method has some wrong renames which lead to some weird issues with fix-missing pickup from the backupfolder.
- misc: optimized fix-unneeded. Faster now (backup/removal of zipped files)
- misc: database and setinfo includes sourcefile information
- misc: chd readerrors appear in warningswindow and not as a msgbox anymore
- added: some save setlist options to scanner's popupmenu (pretty much like the
- fixdat options but it'll create a setlist instead)
- fixed: biossets miss manufacturer and year entries
- fixed: opening setinfo dialog doesn't update the tree
- fixed: dir2dat cuts off characters when sourcefolder ends with a "\"
- fixed: dir2dat puts files in a wrong set when set-subfoldersupport is enabled

QuickPlay est un excellent frontend supportant de nombreux émulateurs en plus de MAME. Il vient d'être mis à jour avec les nouveautés suivantes...

* fixed bug where "mame-scanned" roms wouldnt actually run.. how embarrassing..
* Fixed bug where MAME i686 would never run because quickplay was looking for the wrong configuration file.
* Fixed bug where MAME/Zinc scan would fail if you selected to use the catver file, but it didnt exist.
* Changed default commandline for new roms to add quotes.
* Run With list is now alphabetically sorted.
* Fixed MAME config file check question appeared after quickplay had minimised.. doh..

Roman Scherzer nous propose une nouvelle version de son gestionnaire de ROMs d'une grande qualité. Essentiellement des corrections de bugs, voici les nouveautés:
- fixed: multi-fileselection only accepts some files due to some buffer limitations
- fixed: rebuilder doesn't rebuild files twice or more when the database doesn't get refreshed
- fixed: save fixdat (only incomplete) saves all missing
- misc: autodetect sysdef paths uses the 1st active rompath as default
- misc: profiler info -> don't show "0 of 0".
- misc: unneeded check detects romsets in samplepaths
