A peine la version stable est sortie qu'on repart dans une nouvelle série de beta. Au programme, une bonne liste de corrections de bugs:
4.9.0 bugs fixed:
- JIT indirect safe mode MOVEM.W from memory didn't sign extend registers (very, very old bug but apparently it was almost invisible until now because previously indirect MOVEM wasn't used unless VRAM wasn't indirect capable and direct MOVEM was still incorrectly used even when indirect mode was enabled. This was fixed in 4.9.0).
- Really force all emulated gfx board VRAM accesses to use indirect JIT. Previously used method still allowed direct JIT if code first accessed plain RAM and later (after it was translated) same code accessed VRAM. Fixes graphics corruption in some situations when JIT mode is direct and using emulated RTG boards. Only uaegfx is always fully JIT direct compatible.
- JIT MOVEM.x ,-(An) and includes An: use MOVEM indirect safe mode. Tester does not complain anymore.
- PCem RTG board 15 and 16-bit lores modes didn't horizontally double correctly.
- HBSTRT very near end of scanline was detected as missed, opening left border.
- Programmed HBLANK end mid screen + bitplanes active (=totally broken situation) caused random graphics corruption.
- ECS Denise horizontal blanking logic updated, it is quite complex and previous was not complete. Note that in real world it can only work if display uses H/V sync (not composite sync) = VGA monitor. CSYNC vs HSYNC/VSYNC "monitor cable" option will be added later.
- Programmed Denise/Lisa side vertical blank ended 1 line too early. It takes 1 more line before Denise/Lisa ends it.
- Programmed vertical blank generated blank scanline wasn't always drawn fully to end of scanline.

Other updates and earlier version bug fixes:
- If warp mode and non-qualifier key is pressed: send release event immediately. It is now possible to type normally in warp mode. Note that physical key release will generate another, almost always harmless, key release event.
- PCem Cirrus Logic SVGA emulation planar support enabled. Picasso96 supports 4bit/16 color planar mode.
- Hardware emulated RTG mode + horizontal or vertical doubling + magic mouse: mouse position calculation incorrectly used doubled coordinates.
- Only process mouse/keyboad input Windows events during mid frame (used to reduce input lag) and process other events during vblank.

 GameEx et GameEx Arcade Edition v17.11

Ces frontends multi-systèmes ont été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- This version moves GameEx, GameEx Arcade Edition and most of the libraries to .net 6 (Previously .net core). The reason is simple – significant performance improvements. It even starts up in less than half the time for an initial install.
- Windows 7 and greater 64 bit is supported.
- It can run along side the regular release of GameEx and GameEx as long as installed in a different folder.
- GameEx – “Just play your games”.
- This release also features optimized anf fadter Emumovies artwork downloading for all versions.

Ca y est! La série fleuve de 43 versions beta qui aura duré plus d'un an est terminée. Si vous ne jurez que par les versions stables, c'est le moment de la télécharger. Voici la liste des nouveautés depuis la précédente version stable:
Major update: custom chipset emulation rewrite (biggest reason for far too long release cycle)
- Agnus/Alice internal DMA cycle processing and RGA bus pipelining (bitplanes, copper, blitter etc) accurately emulated.
- Programmed display mode support greatly improved, for example cycle accurate horizontal blanking (even if it is changed mid-screen), badly documented BEAMCON0 bit combinations accurately emulated, previously unknown undocumented features emulated and more.
- Blitter internal logic emulation updates, for example blitter register modifications when blitter is active are now accurately emulated, line mode with B channel enabled undocumented behavior emulated and more.
- Chipset edge-cases and chipset version specific undocumented behavior emulation improved, for example Copper waiting for Blitter chipset bug is accurately emulated (which causes visible glitches and was not emulated previously), borderblank glitch if horizontal window is opened early.
- Display emulation is now from hsync to hsync (not scanline to scanline) which enables accurate emulation of left (programmed modes or blanking modified) and right border (normally visible, position where horizontal position wraps around) edge cases without extra hacks, both bitplanes and sprites. Vertical is also from vsync to vsync, for example last visible line of display can be line 0 (or even larger if special programmed mode) which wasn’t fully emulated previously. Multiple DIWSTRT/STOP regions in single scanline supported, including start/stop horizontal wrap around.
- Bitplane DMA overrun condition is not a special case anymore, all overrun conditions are now fully supported, including bitplane wrap around. Overrun can be used to create special modes that are still fully PAL (or NTSC) compatible without usual restrictions (for example it is possible to have full overscan, horizontal scrolling in 64-bit fetch mode and still have most sprites available)
- Overscan+ and Extreme display size options. Can see everything in emulation that real chipset can output in PAL/NTSC compatible modes with adjusted blanking timing when using converters like OSSC. Also OCS Denise blanking bug on first and last line is now emulated and visible.
- Audio internal timing is now accurate, for example low audio period (lower than DMA can support) interrupt and sample reload timing is now cycle-accurate.

- Prelude A1200 clockport expander support

Updates
- JIT update (Aranym) + shift instruction flag fix.
- x86 bridgeboard emulation updated to PCem v17 x86 core.
- Recent Picasso96 multimonitor support: usegfx Picasso96 DISPLAYCHAIN is now only forced if uaegfx monitor is monitor id=0 (shared with native chipset). Previously DISPLAYCHAIN was always forced.
- ALT+Space does not anymore open WinUAE window standard menu when input is captured.
- Saving config file: Confirm overwrite if existing file is read-only.
- Do not allow opposite joystick directions at the same time (some games crash..) if mapped using Game Ports panel. It is still allowed if configured using Input panel and it was mapped to left/right/up/down events (not horiz/vert).
- Debugger updates. Configurable disassembly format, DMA debugger DDFSTRT, DDFSTOP, horizontal window, vertical window, blanking markers, full 32-bit/64-bit bitplane/sprite pointer addresses, cycle conflict info, fi command accepts assembly syntax (for example “fi trap #0”).

New features
- FloppyBridge support.
- Picasso96 v3.0+ uaegfx screen dragging and dual palette support.
- uaeserial.device CMD_WRITE with io_Length=-1, EOFMODE and Mark and Space parity support implemented.
- bsdsocket.library SBTC_GET_BYTES_RECEIVED, SBTC_GET_BYTES_SENT, SIOCIFADDR, SIOCIFFLAGS, SIOCIFBRDADDR, SIOCIFCONF, SIOCIFNETMASK, SIOCIFMETRIC and SIOCIFMTU support added.
- All Z2 DMA HD controllers are now 24-bit addressing capable by default (real world capability), checkbox option added to enable full 32-bit capability (emulation only).
- Added CD image select/eject keyboard shortcut. END+F5 = select CD image, END+SHIFT+F5 = eject CD. Statefile quick restore moved to END+F6
- Executable as a disk image mounting now supports FFS and HD disks. Uses DD+OFS if selected file fits (like previously), then DD+FFS, finally HD+FFS (if drive is HD).
- Amiga Bootblock Reader brainfile support (copy ABR package xml files to \plugins\ABR). Used when clicking “?” button in quickstart and disk panels.
- Multi monitor mode window positions are now stored to registry/ini.
- Experimental HDR mode. Supports brightness and contrast adjustment without immediate white clipping or black crush.

Bugs fixed
- Fixed HAM left border corruption if overscan HAM mode and bitplane horizontal start was earlier than current filter horizontal start.
- CDTV and CD32 CD audio playback statefile restore bugs fixed.
- A2410 emulation fixed.
- NPCap/WinPCap crash if more than 9 network devices was found.
- Fixed GDI handle leak. GUI panel change leaked 2 font handles.
- Floppy emulation rotation speed was slightly out of spec.
- bsdsocket recv/recvfrom() returning truncated data now matches Unix/Amiga behavior. Windows also returned error when data was truncated.
- OSD led font graphics is now generated from real Windows font and is high DPI aware.
- If game controller was plugged in after config was loaded and loaded config had game controller configured in game ports panel, game controller was correctly remembered but type and autofire mode was set to default values.
- 68040/68060 unimplemented FPU instruction emulation fixes, all 68060 FPSP test package tests pass now.
- Softfloat FMOD, FREM update. FSINCOS implemented, calculates both SIN and COS simultaneously, previously FSINCOS calculated SIN and COS separately.
- Add harddrive button tried to incorrectly guess logical geometry and didn’t enable full drive mode if drive didn’t already have RDB. Result was unusable drive.
- CDFS mounting used wrong character set translation functions, files with region specific characters failed to open depending on Windows regional settings.
- “Remove interlace artifacts” last line flickering workaround fix.
- Fixed empty formatted standard HD ADF creation.
- Many minor bugs fixed.

To do before 5.0. (Early 2022 – Summer 2022)
- 68000 interrupt sampling timing needs to be 100% accurate (My cputester + extra tester hardware should solve this). This is the last remaining non-100% accurate part of A500 emulation.
- Detect programmed modes that real world display can’t support. Blank emulated display when detected.
- 4.9 bug fixes.
- Possible optimizations.
- Replace PCem with 86Box?

On s'approche de plus en plus de la version stable qui devrait arriver mardi prochain. En attendant, voici les améliorations de cette version:
Beta 43 (RC4): Beta tags removed. Final should be out by 07.12.2021. (and a remainder: it is called 4.9 because this version is expected to have stupid bugs due to huge amount of changes and 68000 IPL timing is not yet correct. 5.0 should be fully A500 compatible)

- CDFS mounting used wrong character set translation functions, file names with character codes larger than 128 could not be opened depending on Windows regional settings.
- Vertical centering sometimes decided to use max offset, pushing the image down as much as possible.
- Filter Overscan blanking used old horizontal origin (which changed to earlier, "true" horizontal=0 position, due to chipset updates). Workaround added.
- Blacker than black in non-HDR mode was not RGB=000000 black.

- 0.238-2 must be understood as the 2nd version of NegaMAME synchronised with MAME v0.238. The first version was buggy and couldn't even compile to generate an executable.

Une nouvelle beta a été publiée pour cet émulateur Amiga. La version stable devrait sortir dans une semaine. En attendant, voici les changements apportés:
- Switching from D3D11 fullscreen mode to windowed mode using GUI caused windowed mode to keep-reinitializing continuously. (CTRL+F12 switch worked normally)
- Fixed wrong condition in check if Denise side BPLCON0 parameters needs updating, broke for example HAM enable/disable until next line (b41)
- Blitter line mode with C disabled also disables C-channel pointer modulo add operations. b39 update was not complete. (Methylate / Focus Design).
- Interlace mode last 2 lines (if Overscan+ or Extreme) had swapped long/short line (last line/line zero "wrap around" point), LOF toggles at this point but display device does not see it until few lines later.
- Fixed buffer overflow that caused unexpected crash due to internal variables getting corrupted. It happened if mode was RTG (native chipset not active) and native mode had copper list that writes to custom registers that can affect colors or blanking, state change was unnecessarily recorded to a buffer that is not in use if RTG mode and after long time (can be 100 minutes or more), it finally overflowed. Recent blanking updates introduced this.
- Programmed blanking change was not always fully detected, leaving partially blanked border in some situations.
- Enabled Remove interlace arfifact option without interlace mode: bitplane overrun emulation was not possible.
- Remove interlace artifact option last line flickering/garbage is really gone now. (Blanks extra line(s), this is not really the correct way but too late to fix it properly)
- Bitplane pointer pointing to upper 512k chip ram in ECS 0.5M+0.5M config didn't use indirect read routines. (Fixes Cen / Rare ECS 0.5M+0.5M config corrupted vector objects)

Une nouvelle Release Candidate pour cet émulateur Amiga a étépubliée. Voici la liste des nouveautés:
- Sprite processing was exited early if sprite horizontal start was zero (which is correct normally). But when combined with FMODE SSCAN2-bit, only "original" sprite is invisible but "doubled" sprite is still visible. Fixes Fantastic Dizzy CD32 background glitch.
- Improve Denise/Lisa internal bitplane pipeline logic, previously undocumented combined plane change + bitplane shift changes mid scanline are now working correctly.
- Above behavior also revealed yet another undocumented chipset feature/bug: if ECS Denise or AGA and bitplane plane count is lowered mid scan line and disabled plane's last bit out of bitplane shifter was one: last pixel appears twice. OCS Denise is unaffected. This is emulated only in subpixel mode.
- Clear all internal display emulation buffers at reset, previously some of them was not cleared. (Possibly could have caused temporary on screen garbage when loading statefile on the fly)
