Une vague de mises à jour s'est abattue sur ces frontends multi-systèmes. Les changements des versions les plus récentes ne sont pas connus, mais ceux des précédentes ont été publiés (ce n'est déjà pas si mal): v18.25: - Fixes GameEx process sometimes staying active after exit. - Removed demo from installer. It was very dated and got in the way. v18.24: - Fixes Gamebase support. - Improved startup time. v18.23: - Fixes database issues when used with map files. - Automatic updates are back and automated and synced with the releases on the forum. Arcade Edition has automatic updates too. - When using MAME software list hash xml files as map files the publisher and year fields are used. - The statistics and update download backgrounds have been AI upscaled. Une nouvelle version de cet émulateur multi-systèmes a été publiée. Voici la liste des nouveautés: - An amazing bug was fixed which made it impossible to run a game from the command line in windows... and it's been here for very long. Does it mean that nobody use frontends with raine anymore in windows ? - Big acceleration in the console for mouse tracking (which displays some underlying text in reverse video), and scrolling speed once the window has reached its maximum size (actually you don't even see it scrolling anymore, but the result seems good). Also added some colors and sorted the commands for the help command. - Improvements for the sound associations for real bout fatal fury and samurai shodown, hoping it didn't break any other game... !!! - edit : I forgot to commit the sound association fixes to git, so they were not included in the linux binaries. I just rebuilt them because of that, 0.94.4a, linux only, windows had them. La principale nouveauté, une fonction insolite permettant à l'émulateur d'utiliser les LED du clavier dans certains jeux d'arcade, n'est disponible que pour la version Linux: - This one is mainly for linux since these leds emulation can't be done in windows, description in the forum there : https://www.1emulation.com/forums/topic/36776-emulating-the-old-arcade-leds-in-a-recent-raine-in-linux - The other small improvements : *fixed a big bug where games with more than 1 cpu of the same type like darius would break during the intro behind the menu. This one has been there for a long time, so either nobody played with these old games, or they didn't bother to report it ! *Improvement to sound associations for rbff2 *command.dat included is shorter which makes a smaller archive (removed useless stuff). *Also for some unknown reason, command.dat was bundled with the windows version, but not the linux version ! It's now fixed, and it's in git too. Ce bundle pour l'émulation Nintendo 64 a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes: - Some performance optimizations - Support for 64DD cartridge ports. You can safely ignore the warnings about emulator support on that page, simple64 now supports saving with 64DD cartridge ports. This means you can play these 64DD games like you would any other game. *Technical details for those interested: 64DD cartridge ports write to the ROM, which is normally not allowed. On flash carts, as far as I know, this is accomplished by modifying the ROM file on the flash cart. simple64 creates an xdelta file and saves it as a .romsave file along with other saves (eep, fla, mpk) if the game writes to the ROM. When the game is loaded, if a .romsave file exists for that game, xdelta is used to apply the differences to the ROM in memory. The xdelta is always taken based on the Big Endian/z64 ROM image, regardless of the file type of the ROM. This should be an emulator agnostic way to save these files, and could be standard used to allow these saves to be cross-emulator compatible.
