Il faudra un coup de collier supplémentaire pour la version stable. En effet, la nouvelle beta corrige encore des bugs. Le suite sera possiblement ce week-end. En attendant, voici les changements apportés:
- 68020/030 CE mode too long interrupt delay fix.
- Possible fix for mouse counter overflow after emulator has been running many hours.
- Weird programmed mode blanking position calculation fix.

Interrupt fix might be the reason for above game hang, if used config was 68020 or 30 + "cycle-exact".

Cet émulateur Commodore 8-bit dont Commodore 64 a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
This is a service release which fixes some regressions and annoyances reported
by our users after the 3.6 release.

General
- Fixed sound buffer underrun behaviour, it will now cause a small glitch and no longer disable sound or flood the log with warnings.
- Do not write the log to a file instead of stdout when stdout is already redirected to a file or pipe, so we can do just that on the shell.
- At exit, put quotes around parameters of the regenerated command line options so eg filenames with spaces in them will not break it.
- Suppress warnings about duplicated labels when playing back monitor commands to make mrsid a happy bunny.
- For cartridges that contain RAM that can be loaded from (and saved to) a file, do not init RAM on powerup if backed up by a file (mimic battery backup).
- Do not clear the keyboard input when a 'reset' hotkey was pressed. this allows to "hold" keys when pressing reset, for example "run/stop" when resetting FC3. Note that this still is limited by various other things, like the keyboard mapping and keys reserved by your window manager.
- FFMPEG recordings now default to mp4/h264/AAC instead of some divx avi bullshit.
- On smart attach automatically change the drive type also when not autostarting.
- In some cases the wrong drive was selected automatically on smart attach.
- Fixed sampler file loading.

Build system
- Version x.y.0 builds will now generate a version number of x.y (no .0). Additionally, support for semver style build labels has been added, allowing versions such as 3.6-beta, 3.6.1-beta, etc.
- Make configure check for *both* avresample and swresample, prefer swresample.
- MacOS bindist support for bundling avresample.

C64 fixes
- Added belgian/dutch keymap provided by sorex.
- Added support for the 21sec backup parallel cable.
- Set default ram size for ramlink to 16mb, enable it on ROM attach.
- Fix ramlink API calls for slot0, add missing ROM image setting to UIs.

C128 fixes
- Various MMU mapping fixes.

GTK3 fixes
- Tracked down and helped fixing an upstream GTK bug that made VICE crash on any keypress under certain conditions, making VICE work again for Jazzcat :)
- Fixed default joystick/gamecontroller mappings on Windows/Linux/MacOS.
- Fixed mapping logic to handle multiple events and duplicate mappings correctly.
- Allow negative coordinates for windows, this should fix restoring the window position that was broken on some multi-monitor setups.
- Monitor: remember and restore VTE window size and position.
*Make the monitor window "remember" its position and size between invocations.
*Allow setting the position and size via command line, using `-monitorxpos`, `-monitorypos`, `-monitorwidth` and `-monitorheight`.
*Position and size is saved along with the settings.
- Made joystick/control port tabs only show the extra ports when they are available.
- Mouse pointer changes shape when hovering over clickable status bar items.
- CPU speed / FPS settings added to the main menu.
- Correctly use the LED colors for drives > 8.
- Fixed drive/tap popup menu labels, only display "#8:0" etc if the drive is a dual drive device in the context menus and directory popup menus. Only show "Directory of tape #1/#2" in xpet, show "Directory of tape" in other emulators.
- Added statusbar led for shiftlock.
- Added clickable 40/80colums LED to x128.
- Added clickable LED for the CAPS aka DIN/ASCII key in x128.
- Properly update both keyboard debugging widgets on x128.
- Don't grey-out sound setting widgets when sound is disabled, so configuration can be changed before enabling sound again.
- Various fixes related to the new hotkeys feature:
*Allow for a few more modifiers when setting hotkeys.
*Filter certain modifiers that are only getting in the way (eg numlock).
*Remove old hotkey from the table when redefining.
*Make Return/Enter trigger Accept in the dialog, make Escape trigger Cancel.
*Only show actions that have a corresponding menu item.
*Use hardware keycodes to figure out the key that was pressed. fixes eg the situation on macOS that hotkeys could not be defined because they produce various symbols.

SDL fixes
- Fixed mapping logic to handle multiple events and duplicate mappings correctly.

macOS fixes
- Fixed macOS bindist not working if placed in path with a space in it. Also the runtime cwd will now default to the user’s home directory, unless launched using the CLI scripts in the root bin folder in which case the current cwd will be preserved.
- Gtk3: added MacOS specific .vhk (hotkey) files.
- FFMPEG recordings now work on Apple Silicon binary distributions
- The launcher .app apps no longer require Rosetta on Apple Silicon

- AUDIO: Remove frame limit from audio batch callback. Before, if a core used the audio batch callback, there would be a hidden cap of 1024 on the number of audio frames that could be sent. While this is sufficient for ‘normal’ samplerates/framerates, it means that e.g. a core using the batch callback to send 44100 Hz audio at 30 fps with would have entirely broken sound. This has been fixed by removing the audio batch frame limit.

Cet émulateur Apple // pour MacOS et Linux (l'archive contient les deux versions) a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Better cursor focus tracking, less likely to have an invisible cursor when KEGS is no longer the active window.
- F5 now toggles the status display at the bottom on/off. This state can be saved in config.kegs.
- Added Dynapro image support--mount a host directory as a ProDOS image of up to 32MB, to allow easy moving of files to/from emulation. See README.dynapro.txt.
- Add limited Video Overlay Card (VOC) support to add new SHR mode of 640x400 (interlaced).
- You can "D"uplicate any disk image to a new file, and "V"erify any ProDOS image.

Une nouvelle beta a été publiée pour WinUAE. Elle devrait être normalement la dernière de ce cycle voire même être la version finale. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Use pre-430b5 lagless vsync behavior by default if Windows 7. -beamrace 0 command line will force 430b5+ behavior and -beamrace 1 will force pre-430b5 behavior.
- ECS Denise CSYNC blanking fixes. Denise ignores vblank strobes when deciding blanking if EXTBLKEN=1.
- Remove interlace artifact option enabled: bitplanes and sprites had 1 scanline offset. (introduced in some 490 beta)
- NTSC mode and software switch to PAL: display was incorrectly vertically stretched.
- Integer scaling only worked correctly if horizontal and vertical resolution matched (correct aspect ratio). Now also other combinations work correctly (for example superhires + any or lores + doubled)

Cet émulateur multi-systèmes a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- PCE, PCE-Fast: Initialize VCE color table memory at power-on to roughly(without probabilistic bit randomness) match test results from a
- PC Engine Duo instead of just zeroing it; fixes unreadable letters in the password entry screen of "Order of the Griffon".
- Added test for potential splatting-related bug in qemu's PPC64 VSX "xscvdpsp" instruction emulation that messes up OwlResampler when compiled with gcc.
- PCE: Added patch in the "notes" subdir for extending the upper range of the "pce.slend" setting to 241(not applied in Mednafen due to increasing the probability of an extra 8ms of input lag with some games).
- VB: Fixed a couple inaccuracies in the VSU modulation emulation, fixing a few sound effects in "Virtual Boy Wario Land".
- SNES-Faust: Fixed S-DSP pitch modulation being half as strong as it should be.
- SNES: Fixed wrong compile-time endian detection on little-endian PPC64.
- PCE: Fixed incomplete initialization of the VDC BG tile cache; fixes glitches after the boss explodes in "R-Type" under certain conditions(more likely to occur in forks of Mednafen).
- NES: Added missing mapper 90 variables to save states.
- Placing a "%d" or "%b" specifier at the beginning of a filesys.fname_* setting format string will now cause the generated path to be used as-is, rather than potentially being prefixed with the corresponding filesys.path_* setting or the Mednafen base directory. Fixes a regression introduced in 1.28.0-UNSTABLE that caused IPS patch files to be loaded from the wrong location when the user had loaded a game via a relative path.
- Added support for playing the SCSP-generated music from most Sega Model 2A, 2B, 2C, and 3 games, via the new experimental "sasplay" module.
- SNES: Fixed compilation error for little-endian PPC64 with LTO enabled.
- Fixed compilation error after running configure with --disable-fancy-scalers.

Cet émulateur NES a été mis à jour. Cette version se concentre principalement sur la correction de bugs apparus avec la v2.6.0:
Qt/SDL GUI Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Fixed Qt cursor override stack overflow issue. Code now properly calls QGuiApplication::restoreOverrideCursor following QGuiApplication::setOverrideCursor.
- Fixed application crash when attempting to open/close the CDL window more than once.
- Fixed inverted vertical scrollbar on Qt Trace logger. Added page up/down key shortcuts for Trace logger viewport.
- Added an optional splash screen at startup. Splash screen defaults to off and can be enabled in GUI config dialog.

Qt/SDL RAM Search Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Changed Qt RAM search logic to skip over RAM mirrors. Changed GUI to allow for searching of RAM, SRAM, and ROM regions to be individually selectable.

Qt/SDL Build Improvements:
- Applied cmake SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH patch for reproducible builds.

Qt/SDL Windows Build Dependency Upgrades:
- Upgraded to SDL version 2.0.20
- Upgraded to ffmpeg version 5.0

Une nouvelle beta a été publiée pour cet émulateur Amiga qu'on ne présente plus. Ce cycle sera court car la version stable devrait arriver le weekend prochain. En attendant, voici les améliorations:
- Filtered lores had wrong colors if host graphics mode was 16-bit.
- Horizontal DIWSTOP = last possible horizontal position (+1 more would cause always on hdiw) didn't ignore DIWHIGH AGA H0/H1 bits, if either (or both) were set, always on diw was detected.
- Disk not in ADKCON FAST mode and normal 2us MFM disk in drive: disk index was unreliable.
- Some normal programmed WB modes unnecessarily enabled slower cycle-based custom chipset emulation.
- Another HBLANK fix, if previous line ends in border closed state and without hblank start, next line also starts in border closed state. Programmed HBLANK + AGA only, ECS Denise CSYNC blanking always resets border state when HSYNC starts.
- Previous A1000 3 lores pixel earlier change was not accurate, it is OCS Denise feature (including A1000 Denise) and it isn't hblank end difference but for some only bitplane data is not allowed until first 3 pixels, border works normally (Previous test used black border color which hide the 3 lores pixel border stripe). This is now fixed.
- In some situations old bitplane data was not properly cleared when number of planes decreased mid scanline (including change hidden in invisible part of scanline). b4 number of bitplane change side-effect.
- Adjusted overscan+/extreme positioning.

The 2.6.0 release features the addition of the TAS Editor to the Qt/SDL port. There are also a few other minor bug fixes.

- uaegfx overlay wasn't synced with screen dragging. It still works strangely if screen with overlay is not in front screen because Picasso96 does not yet support overlay fully during screen dragging.
- Reset filter button didn't reset manual filter settings.

- if number of planes changed mid scanline, whole line was drawn using planecount that was active when line started. If plane count was increased mid scanline, line was still drawn using lower plane count. If plane count was lowered, output was correct. (vAmiga test)
- Fixed x86 bridgeboard (AT variants only) boot crash if optimized build. Not sure if it was compiler bug or something else but I found a way to work around it. I think this exact same bug has happened previously.
- A1000 left hblank ends 3 lores pixels later than other models.

Later 4.9.0 beta series introduced bugs:
- If VSYNC starts after vertical wraparound (can happen in programmed modes), lines after wraparound before VSYNC was not drawn.
- HCENTER (ECS Denise only) "blanking" didn't work.
- Left side didn't open far enough in extreme overscan mode.
- OCS Agnus + OCS Denise: last blanked line bug on top of screen was not visible if line also had bitplane enabled.
- Direct 3D 11 mode shader buffer leak fixed. Caused crash after few dozens or so display mode switches. (4.9.0)

Deux versions consécutives ont été publiées pour cet émulateur arcade. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
v0.92.6:
- Anyway it's just a quick fix of 0.92.5 problems : crash if opening the sound options dialog, leaving it, and opening it again (!)
Bad playing frequency of external audio tracks (except the raw format ones !)
- And there was a bad entry added to the hiscore.dat hosted here, it's probably me who added it, but a very long time ago, it was for viewpoint, and the syntax was a mix between the old format and the new one, and the hiscore parser didn't like it (what a surprise !). Since this file was here for more than 1 year, I fixed the parser to accept this syntax too, even if it's the only entry of this kind in the hiscore.dat !
- And I added the hiscore.dat to all the binary packages, linux & windows (going from 2.5 Mb to 2.6 Mb, what a deal... !).

v0.92.5:
- Slow progress, while I was in the audio functions, I added the ability to change the audio driver and the audio device from the gui. For the device, most computers have only the default sound card, but for the one I have plugged to a tv, it has actually 4 devices, 1 for the analog output, 1 for the digital output (the digital plug behind the computer, that's the one I have been using for many years), 1 for hdmi 0, and the last for hdmi 1, these 2 hdmi being what the video card exports.
Which finally allows me to switch easily the sound between the stereo and the tv, I had never actually used the sound output on the hdmi until now on this setup, it doesn't sound bad...
For the driver, it shouldn't be useful for most users, for wndows it's directsound by default. For linux it's pulseaudio if possible, otherwise alsa, otherwise dsp. The names of the output devices change depending on the selected audio driver... ! And each audio driver can have a preferred frequency, so the default frequency changes with it.
Also the neocd raw audio tracks which worked previously only if you had set your audio output at 44.1 Khz (cd quality), now work with any output frequency, and it doesn't sound bad at 11 Khz actually ! (at least for the game which I tested, which was viewpoint). The conversion for the wav/mp3/ogg/flac format was already done automatically, there was only this raw format which had no conversion and which required 44.1 Khz output.
- Very old stuff : I found lately a forgotten file in the git repository, galaxian.c in the sound directory which was a beginning of the emulation of the sound for galaxian, which I had started around 2007, and then completely forgotten, it was imported in the initial commit to git in 2009 and I didn't even notice !
At that time I had given up the idea because the sound for galaxian is quite crazy, there is no sound command, no dedicated cpu for the sound, and the main cpu directly plays with frequencies to generate sounds. Which means you have some basic square signal generated at a very low frequency which must be converted to a playable frequency, and then it changes the base frequency of the signal in real time... ! Add to that that the background sound you hear during gameplay is generated by 3 samples playing at the same time at slightly different frequencies, + 2 channels for the sounds, controlled by timers too because otherwise it's not fun... !
Since I was busy with sound options lately and I felt more comfortable with sample rate conversions, I gave it another try, and this time it's good, galaxian finally has an emulated sound. By the way this game is supposed to date from 1979, it's amazing what such an old game can do ! Until now it had only emudx samples, but it really felt incomplete, in the real game you have a background sound which slowly accelerates when there are fewer and fewer enemies on screen, that was really missing from the emudx version. You can still choose to have emudx sprites and/or emudx sound to compare anyway !
- Except that a few more fixes, the more outstanding one at least for me was a bug in the hiscores which could wrongly reset its status for some game, I found out on some very old one, "ms pacman attacks", which is available from "multipac 1.5", it lost its hiscores a few seconds only into the game ! It probably affected some other games too.
- Lots of small fixes for emudx games, it's been a long time since I didn't touch this, by the way the initialization of emudx games crashed in 0.92.4, so if you want to test that you need this version !
- Also a lot of sound chips now correctly save their state in the savegames, games like batrider now restore correctly their sound finally (yeah it should have been done long ago... oh well !).
