C'est reparti pour une nouvelle série de beta pour cet émulateur Amiga pour Windows. Celle-ci se concentrera cette fois sur les corrections de bugs. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- 420b2 "Fixed AGA HAM graphics corruption.." missed one special case. Fixes Alien Breed 3D graphics corruption.
- Reset/Restart didn't clear uaegfx overlay state.
- Added uaegfx overlay statefile support.
- uaegfx statefile restore and hardware sprite mode: mouse cursor image was not restored.
- Picasso IV and uaegfx YUV422 overlay support fixed (frogger, moovid). Note that scaling is linear, real chip uses interpolation. YUV411 is still untested but I am not sure if it was ever used.
- New 128k UAE ROM stored statefile didn't restore correctly.
- Changing accelerator board options (jumpers etc) on the fly didn't do anything.
- uaedbg chip ram memory allocation fallback to normal chip ram fixed.
- Updated remaining weird instruction names in disassembler (MOVEP, MOVE USP, MOVE/AND/OR/EOR SR/CCR, memory rotate instructions)

Most notably, this release fixes the analog stick regression from v2.1.1, fixes RPI plugins support, supports remembering the game window geometry (including fullscreen) and properly supports XDG config directories (thanks to @denisfa for the latter two.)

Cet émulateur Amiga qu'on ne présente plus est passé en version stable. Voici les nouveautés apparues depuis la précédente version stable:
New features:
- uaegfx and Picasso IV Overlay/PIP support.
- All GUI listviews support column order and column width customization.
- Custom ROM selection (4 slots) added.
- Direct3D 9/11 shader embedded config entry support.
- 68030 MMU instruction disassembler support and other disassembler fixes.
- 68030 MMU emulation will now also create short type bus error stack frames when possible, matching real 68030 behavior.
- Windowed mode keeps aspect ratio if CTRL is pressed while resizing.
- Added debugger invalid access logger (memwatch l).
- Reject Alt+ Windows system menu key shortcuts. Invalid short cut combinations can generate annoying Windows alert sounds.
- KS ROM selection supports loading and relocation of hunk and m68k elf executables.

Bug fixes:
- Direct3D 11 shader support fixes.
- CDTV CD drive read/play startup delays adjusted. Fixes Town without no name speech audio track stopping too early.
- Accelerator board CPU fallback (to mainboard CPU mode) works again.
- Many video port adapters (which includes grayscale mode and genlock) didn’t support all doubling modes.
- Minor custom chipset fixes (Small graphics corruption in certain special situations)
- Moving mouse outside and back to WinUAE window in Magic mouse activated WinUAE window even if some other window was already active.
- AVI recording with non-standard refresh rate was reset to default if GUI was entered and exited during recording.
uae-configuration returned return code 10 even when matching config entry was found.
- “Add PC drives at startup” enabled and same drive’s root directory also mounted manually: drive was mounted twice. (Introduced in 4.1.0)
- Genlock transparency didn’t always activate even when genlock emulation was enabled.

Cet émulateur Super Nintendo a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
Don't let the point release fool you, there are many significant changes in this release. I will be keeping bsnes releases using a point system until the new higan release is ready.

Changelog:
- GUI: added high DPI support
- GUI: fixed the state manager image preview
- Windows: added a new waveOut driver with support for dynamic rate control
- Windows: corrected the XAudio 2.1 dynamic rate control support [BearOso]
- Windows: corrected the Direct3D 9.0 fullscreen exclusive window centering
- Windows: fixed XInput controller support on Windows 10
- SFC: added high-level emulation for the DSP1, DSP2, DSP4, ST010, and Cx4 coprocessors
- SFC: fixed a slight rendering glitch in the intro to Megalomania

If the coprocessor firmware is missing, bsnes will fallback on HLE where it is supported, which is everything other than SD Gundam GX and the two Hayazashi Nidan Morita Shougi games.

The Windows dynamic rate control works best with Direct3D in fullscreen exclusive mode. I recommend the waveOut driver over the XAudio 2.1 driver, as it is not possible to target a single XAudio2 version on all Windows OS releases. The waveOut driver should work everywhere out of the box.

Note that with DRC, the synchronization source is your monitor, so you will want to be running at 60hz (NTSC) or 50hz (PAL). If you have an adaptive sync monitor, you should instead use the WASAPI (exclusive) or ASIO audio driver.

Cette beta de WinUAE est probablement la dernière de la série avant la prochaine version stable. Voici les changements apportés:
- Added A2090a ROM driver workaround, in one error condition situation it forgets to set correct DMAC mode before reading DMA status. So apparently DMA error bit can be also read when last mode was start DMA (or perhaps it is always valid). Fixes A2090a + tape drive hang.
- Not all autoconfig boards configured fully when used with A2620/A2630. (Which has differently behaving autoconfig driver compared to KS ROM in its boot rom)
- Sprite to bitplane and bitplane to bitplane collisions didn't work correctly if subpixel mode was enabled.

Pas de changement de numéro de version, mais un hotfix a été appliqué à la dernière version de ce plugin vidéo pour émulateurs Nintendo 64. Voici ce qui a été corrigé:
- Some last minutes modifications broke Dark Rift, and that bug sneaked into the 4.0 release. It is fixed now

Après avoir passé une journée à esquiver les jets de poissons, notamment dans l'actualité du jeu vidéo, nous pouvons reprendre une activité normale.

Découvrons les résultat du précédent sondage de notre site:



Sans réelle surprise, une écrasante majorité d'entre vous apprécie les jeux à la difficulté équilibrée: vous ne demandez pas une promenade de santé, mais pas non plus le parcours du combattant. Vous n'êtes finalement que 10% à vouloir pleurer du sang.


Le jeu multijoueurs en ligne est de plus en plus présent (et imposé) dans les jeux récents. La pratique est pourtant loin d'être nouvelle puisqu'elle remonte aux années 90. Suivez-vous cette tendance? Le sondage de ce mois va s'y intéresser.


Une joueuse concentrée sur sa partie d'un jeu multijoueurs..

Une nouvelle version majeure de ce plugin video pour émulateur Nintendo 64 a été publiée. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
Today is time to set new Release tag to master branch.
Previous Release 3.0 was a revolutionary one because of massive changes in plugin's architecture and new possibilities opened by these changes. This release is rather evolutionary. It continues tendencies started in the previous version. Of course, new features had been developed too. Lets see:

Solution for HLE problems
- The main theme of the new release is solution of HLE-related problems. It started with long long awaited HLE implementation of BOSS ZSort microcode made by Gilles Siberlin.
- Then olivieryuyu and me completed our "Mission Impossible 2" : HLE implementation of microcodes for "Indiana Jones" and "Battle for Naboo".That was a huge and incredibly hard work. Successful completion of that task ultimately closed "HLE not supported" issue. All N64 games now can be run in HLE mode. olivieryuyu wrote an article about this microcode: "The masterpiece graphic microcode behind the Nintendo 64 version of Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine and Star Wars Episode I: Battle for Naboo". I highly recommend to read it.
- Next step was to fix issues caused by incomplete or incorrect implementation of some HLE commands, which caused HLE-only glitches. We started with re-implementation of S2DEX microcode, which is designed to draw such 2D objects as sprites and backgrounds. olivieryuyu decoded that huge and tangled microcode and we made new HLE implementation of it, trying to reproduce original algorithms as close as possible. That work took us circa six month.
- We also fixed several small HLE issues, where glitch was caused by an issue in some command. Such fixes also required microcode analysis. Thanks to olivieryuyu's efforts we fixed:
*missing transition effect in Dark Rift menu
*Coin Block Blitz mini game in Mario Party
*Conker's Bad Fur Day lighting fix
*Missing graphics in Sim City 64

Regressions fixes.
- The second big topic of this new release is fixing of regressions.
- Unfortunately, each big release is brings not only new features and fixes, but also new bugs. Complete testing is very hard and tedious process. Fortunately, users are founding and reporting us about issues. One of my goals for this release was to fix all known regressions. I combed project's bug tracker for such bugs. To my surprise, many reported issues were actually old and very old regressions. I even found regressions, which were made before the very first public release. I fixed all these issues and I hope that this release will not bring many new ones.

New features.
1. As you know, GLideN64 has special mode for precise emulation of N64 depth compare. This mode helps to fix many minor and some major issues with depth compare, but it has some limitations:
- serious performance drop in some games
- incompatibility with Multi-Sample Anti Aliasing (MSAA)
- Logan McNaughton aka loganmc10 found OpenGL extensions, which helped us to weaken the performance issue greatly. Now you can use N64 depth compare freely if your hardware supports required extensions. This mode is still incompatible with MSAA, but now we have a solution. I implemented Fast Approximate Anti Aliasing (FXAA) , which you can enable along with N64 depth compare.
2. Ultimate solution for "remove these darn annoying black boarders" issue: Overscan feature. Now you may crop output image as much as you want.
3. User profiles. You may create profiles with different settings and switch between them. For example, you may create a profile with 2D fixes enabled to play 2D games, or create a profile with N64 depth compare + FXAA enabled.

New supported games
- I already mentioned implementation of new microcodes, which finally made it possible to run any game with HLE. However, there are still games, which can't run properly because they do something weird what GLideN64 does not expect and can't emulate yet. Example of such game is Super Bowling 64. The way that game programmed makes it hard to emulate on PC hardware. Finally I found a way how it can be done. That fix then helped me to solve split screen issue in NASCAR 2000. Another example of hard to emulate issue is multiplayer mode in GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark with 3 or 4 players. It was fixed too.

Other
- It is impossible to list all solved issues. We closed more than 175 issues during this release cycle .
