 ClrMAME Pro v4.019 (32-bit)
Jeudi 28/05/15 à 10:37 par Firebrand
Cette nouvelle version de ClrMAME Pro s'adapte à la fusion de MAME et MESS. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- misc: updated engine.cfg to support MAME .162 (the emulator formerly known as MAME and MESS). You can ignore possible prompts regarding engine.cfg changes, they are normal and they only appear once per profile. The default entry MAME will now work for MAME >= .162. There is a new entry at the end of the list for MAME < 162 if you got the need to read in an old MAME binary. The OLD_MAME entry is for MAME < .84 where -listxml was not supported. Actually engine.cfg is an old quick way to support binaries which only have some output elements renamed and after my summer holiday I might think of a more generic or auto-detect way..but for now it is working fine. This change only affects direct import from the MAME binary. Reading in datfiles will still look at "game" and not "machine" elements.
- fixed: game name check might produce a wrong warning for full merged chd sets where the parent does not have chds
- fixed: sampleclones check for sample-only sets fails and reports missing sets

 QMC2 v0.52 (32-bit)
Jeudi 28/05/15 à 10:28 par Firebrand
Ce frontend pour MAME a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- fix: corrected visibility switching of the ROM state filter menu (related to the detail-setup overhaul in 0.50)
- fix: DAT-info database: corrected file modification checking to also work on Windows
- imp: unified all main GUI variants into one: qmc2-(sdl)mame (because of the unification in MAME) – as a result, you only have to build one binary now and the EMULATOR option as well as variant switching have been removed
- imp: updated category.ini contributed by ASH to MAME 0.162
- imp: ROMAlyzer: removed the extra frame around the scanner status and centered it vertically
- imp: when the emulator binary cannot be identified as MAME this will no longer stop game list processing, instead QMC2 will log a warning and try to continue as if it were MAME (note: bad things can happen if this is not the case!)
- imp: added new software notes-template macro $SOFTWARE_PARENT_ID$ (bug tracker ID #105)
- imp: updated the alternative system- and software-notes templates contributed by José Marcio Rezende Franco
- imp: category view: BIOS and device sets that aren’t available in catver.ini and/or category.ini will now still be inserted as sub-items of their respective categories when the view is created
- imp: system- and software-notes templates: added a new JavaScript-usable function to open URLs in the system’s default browser (qmc2NEO.openLinkInDefaultBrowser(linkUrl))
- imp: all former XML entities are handled as / expected to be entities now
- inf: project renamed to M.A.M.E. Catalog / Launcher II
- inf: the old MAWS feature has been dropped in favor of the ProjectMESS feature

- Adjust breakout layout to fit screen boundaries. Changed lights to be be circles. [Couriersud]
- Downsizing ... Removed netlist_ttl_input_t and netlist_ttl_output_t. The logic family is governed by the chip and defaults to TTL. However individual devices may change the logic family of their inputs and outputs as well. Implementing special output/input characteristics of "S", "LS", "HC", ... you name it, devices is now pretty easy. Theoretically e.g. a "LS_HighPrecision" proxy could be used to model the output down to the transistor level. [Couriersud]

- clifront.c: Slightly optimized -romident so that each software list is parsed only once instead of as many times as the number of drivers it is attached to. Also, removed the implication that files with (size != power of 2) are to be skipped, since we now want to identify also tapes and floppies and not only ROM binaries. [Fabio Priuli]
- Added netlist-level parameter NETLIST.USE_DEACTIVATE. Device deactivation optimisations can now be enabled within the netlist provided the circuit can deal with them. [Couriersud]
- Added truthtable implementations to a number of devices. The combination of device activation, usage of GCC PMF extensions and truthtables brings breakout to 95% speed up from about 75%. Fixed NE555 initial state. [Couriersud]

[Couriersud]
- TLCS-90 CPU: Fixed TRUN bit masking (timers start/stop) [Rainer Keuchel]
- More progress on SPICE to netlist conversion. nltool can now convert simple SPICE netlists e.g. from LTSpice to netlist format. [Couriersud]

- Bus error emulation in non-MMU mode (not really Amiga specific) didn't call do_specialties() correctly.

Beta 19:
- Switching from non-lace to/from lace didn't always select correct long/short/interlace frame timing.

 VisualBoy Advance-M v2.0.0 beta 1
Hey loyal fans. This is it. Amassing of 229 changes since the last official release, a lot of that being poured into a new release, we are proud to give you VBA-M 2.0.0 Beta 1. That's right folks, Beta 1
This was a long time coming and I personally like to thank skid for the help he has been in bringing the new interface up to speed.
We are going to try and be more active, gonna try and clean up the emulation cores, try to make them more accurate but also maintain the speed and in general code readability as well.

Revision: 1457
- Fixed the crash that would occur if the audio backend is switched before a game is loaded.

Revision: 1456
- missed the aboutbox

Revision: 1455
- just changed a define to an existing one, when FINAL_VERSION is not defined it'll show svn string and when defined it will not show.

Revision: 1454
- Resized some of the dialogs. Fixed the Cancel button on the GDB configuration dialog.

Revision: 1453
- Maintain Windows XP support for the WX and SDL builds.

Revision: 1452
- Updated the OSX icon and removed the extraneous .app suffix

Revision: 1451
- Made running the game at normal speed the default set-up. Patch by sergio-br2.

Revision: 1450
- Reset the sound subsystem if the audio backend is changed. Fixed an array out of bounds error in the sound device selection.

Revision: 1449
- Used Sergio Benjamim's icon for the wx build.

Revision: 1448
- Removed the CR's from wxvbam.desktop. Thanks to Sergio Benjamim.

Revision: 1447
- Made the configuration dialogs stay on top so that they would not be covered by the main window.

Revision: 1446
- Added a "Keep window on top" option.

Revision: 1445
- Added version to the About box.

Revision: 1444
- Raised the maximum number of cheats allowed from 100 to 16384.

Revision: 1443

Revision: 1441

Revision: 1439
- You didn't see us change the version to 2.0.0 *waves hands mysteriously*

Revision: 1438
- Added rewind feature to GTK version. Patch by Juha Laukkanen.
- There are two config params:
*rewind_count_max => how many blocks are reserved maximum, higher value leads to greater memory usage naturally but longer rewind log
*rewind_interval => default interval is 165ms and higher value leads to more inaccurate rewind but longer rewind log
- Also fixes memtell() telling incorrect size because data is not flushed.
- wxWidgets front end having too small buffer for rewinds resulting overflows.

Revision: 1437
- Installed man pages on unix-ish platforms. Patch by Mook.

Revision: 1436

- Updated the comment too, for grepablility.

Revision: 1435
- Added CHT cheat format parsing and file import.
- Currently, this is in the wx front-end code. Moving this logic into the core will bring this functionality to all front-ends.

Revision: 1434
