La version mensuelle de MAME est arrivée. Voici les nouveautés de celle-ci:
Are you getting fidgety waiting for Halloween to arrive? Well now you can take your mind off the wait by giving the brand-new MAME release a spin! We've changed the release slightly this month: the whatsnew file is formatted differently, the 32-bit Windows binary package has "32bit" in its filename, and we're no longer providing a pre-built debug binary package for Windows. We've dropped the debug binaries as they don't seem to have a target demographic. All builds include the MAME debugger. The release packages are built with symbols that will give a meaningful stack trace. The debug build was still optimised, so stack traces were no more precise. The main difference is that debug builds have assertions enabled which is mainly useful if you're working on the source. In short, we don't see a use case where someone would be better off with the debug build if they aren't compiling MAME themselves anyway.
With that out of the way, what surprises does MAME have in store for you all this month? We're pretty confident that we have something for everyone! First of all, we're proud to present the Soviet arcade game Istrebiteli ("Fighters", as in aircraft). We've also emulated Ocean to Ocean, an early video slots game on the DECO Cassette system. ShouTime has worked his magic again, allowing the masses to see the rare Alpha Denshi title Splendor Blast II. But possibly most interesting is preliminary emulation of the Magnet arcade system, a prototype floppy disk-based system from Spain.
We've also added a number of non-arcade systems. There's the Gakken Game Robot 9 handheld game, and several Fidelity chess systems. Getting away from games altogether, we've added a working driver for a VeriFone Trans payment terminal. There have been some substantial updates to the software lists, too. The Sega CD software list has been completely updated to use the latest and best dumps known to exist, we've replaced a number of pirate Apple II disk images with clean cracks, there are some notable additions to the Sharp X68000 floppy list, and even an obscene Pokémon hack for Game Boy that's being sold in China.

Une nouvelle beta de cet émulateur Amiga a été publiée. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
- Fixed double free in RTL8019 9346 EEPROM emulation. Caused random crashes.
- Implemented DP8390 NIC support (Same register set as NE2000 but without on board RAM "fake DMA" support)
- Added DP8390 based NICs, ASDG LAN Rover/EB920 and Hydra AmigaNET.
- Moved slirp/winpcap option to Expansions -> Network Adapters. Note: Still can't have more than 1 network device active.
- Removed A2065, NE2000 PCMCIA and Realtek 8029 PCI GUI checkboxes. Everything is now under Network Adapters.
- Expansion device select menu sorting fixed.
- winpcap mode now by default uses generated local MAC address (aa-82-8a-xx-xx-xx xx=from physical NIC MAC), or if A2065, it uses real A2065 00-80-10-xx-xx-xx MAC. This fixes conflicts with Windows' use of same physical NIC. Custom winpcap MAC address can be forced by editing config file (*_rom_options=mac=xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx). GUI is not yet supported. Physical NIC is also switched to promiscous mode automatically if NIC MAC does not match Amiga side MAC.
- Ignore all received winpcap packets when emulation is paused.
- FFS partition HDF (with WB 1.3 disk L:FastFileSystem) now fully boots under KS 1.0.

WinPCap note: Use http://www.win10pcap.org/ if you have Windows 10. NOTE2: It has a bug that causes "FATAL Bad Memory Block." errors to appear in winuae's log. It is fortunately harmless. https://nmap.org/npcap/ may also work. (npcap DLL path locations are now supported)

NOTE: Only 3.3 (and older) config files with old style A2065 or RTL8029 PCI config entries are loaded. 3.4 beta created config files need manual A2065/RTL8029/NE2000 PCMCIA reconfiguration. Old config entries are still created for backwards compatibility but they are ignored when loading.

Ce frontend orienté arcade a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
Minor update to fix Error code 1 when trying to run games with ZiNc emulator. For me life of me, I don't know why the function to convert long names to short names (8.3) was not working. I didn't make changes to it...

Fixed
- Removed the "ding" sound if you press ENTER key in the select folder dialog
- No "ui.ini" detection when changing MAME/HBMAME binary; it was causing problems if "ui.ini" is missing
- ZiNc games failed to run, generating error code 1; frontend "LongToShortPath()" function was not working; it's replaced by "ExtractShortPathName()" function from Delphi XE 10 Seattle compiler, which works... YAY!

- Support "ui.ini" for HBMAME; v0.172 and newer required

Ce frontend multi-systèmes a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes:
I missed some bugs here and there.
After the big update, a new build to fix the very unstable thumbnails view. And a plus, I've created 128x128 and 68x68 system icons. They look so beautiful that will bring tears to your eyes. It took me almost a month because I also had to update most system icons for dark backgrounds. They look ugly if you select black as the games list background color.
WARNING: If you change games font (name, size) while in thumbnails view, you must restart the frontend or the thumb cell size will not repaint correctly. This is a painting bug caused by EasyListView control and there is nothing I can do to fix it. You can change games font in details view mode and then change to thumbs view.
Another great news. EmuCon can detect image types when loading them. If you have a PNG file format but filename is using a .jpg extension, the image will be loaded without crashing the frontend! :D
JPG images are now loaded correctly.

Fixed
- Proper detection of PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP image types, to fix frontend freezes and crashes (unzipped and zipped)
- Thumbnails view mode was unstable and bugged
*system icons were not always loading
*added "Small (16x16)" system icon size
*created a system icons array; they are all loaded before activating thumbnails view mode (faster and safer)
*new setting "Alpha Blended Icons" to show the system/favorite icons without the white border (enabled by default)
*added support to display JPG files
*incrased minimum thumb size to 152 pixels
*when no snapshot is loaded, a 128x128 icon is displayed instead of the 48x48 icon size
*UNFIXABLE bug: if you change games font (name/size), the thumbnail cell size doesn't update correctly; only a frontend restart fixes it
- Filter icon filename for "Amstrad CPC" was wrong, preventing from load the tool bar icon
- MAME description in changed to just "MAME" (file "emulator_parameters[default].ini")

- Updated all system icons so they can be visible in dark backgrounds; also created 68x68 and 128x128 sizes
- Delete selected games UI tweaks
- Feature "Select Emulators to Play" (tool bar button "Emulators"):
*added "Apply" / "Abort" button so you can cancel changes
*increased screen size to fit long strings
*changed view mode to "tiles" to show custom fonts for each emulator
*added emulator filename with full path for each emulator
*settings are saved to "sysemulators.ini" when closing the screen (on "Apply" button click) to preserve changes in case of frontend crash

Added
- New security setting: Disable "Delete Seleted Games"; to prevent kiddies from deleting your games files (preferences screen, "Games List" tag)
NOTE: this setting is enabled by default; to delete your game files you must uncheck the new setting
