Ce frontend multi-systèmes a été mis à jour. Les améliorations sont les suivantes: Here we go again. Some changes were necessary to add compatibility with Emu Loader frontend. HUH!? :) In the future you will be able to copy games lists, favorites profiles and config files from EmuCon into Emu Loader... and run MAME software list games in Emu Loader with custom emulators straight from EmuCon. And run games from EmuCon with your selected arccade MAME executable. MAME calls them loose software. Games that are not in software lists. But enough of that now. One big change in this version is that boxart.zip filename is no longer supported. Make sure to rename all your boxart.zip files to covers.zip (just like in MAME). You must do this manually for all your systems. EmuCon will not do that for you. I know, it's a painful job but, to maintain compatibility with Emu Loader, it must be done. The image category title is still Box Art though. No reason to name it Covers. It doesn't make much sense. Another change, also to be compatible with Emu Loader, you don't need to put all 3 image .zip files in game snapshot directory anymore. You can separate them (note that you can still use them in a single folder): snap.zip in the game snapshot directory titles.zip in the title snapshot directory covers.zip in the boxart directory Now, don't go crazy copying the supported EmuCon files into Emu Loader directory thinking it already works, because it doesn't. I'm still porting EmuCon features into Emu Loader and it will take quite a while before I have something to show you.
Fixed - Minor fixes and optimizations in the source code
Changed - Game image preview changes: *compatibility with MAME emulator and Emu Loader frontend *zipped filename renamed from "boxart.zip" to "covers.zip" ("Box Art" image category title remains); I forgot to do this in EmuCon v2.7.4 *support for image category sub-folder when searching unzipped images so you can have "snap.zip" in your "snapdir\" path and unzipped images in "snapdir\snap\" sub-folder (same behavior as MAME): ."sys_gamesnapdir\snap\gamefile.png" ."sys_gametitledir\titles\gamefile.png" ."sys_gamecoverdir\covers\gamefile.png" *if folder of image category is emtpy (undefined), category entry in "sysimagefolders.ini" file is saved anyway *file "sysimagefolders.ini" is no longer deleted when writing settings into it, to prevent deleting entries required by Emu Loader frontend *you can use .zip files in each image category folder (snap.zip; titles.zip; covers.zip); you don't have to put all .zip files in the "game snap" folder
Added - Compatibility between EmuCon frontend and Emu Loader frontend; use same config .ini files, favorites files, games lists (for future upgrade) |
